  1. Because shipping from the U.S can be killer. It sucks to pay $12 for a kit and then $35 shipping. Shipping is killing a lot of online & e-Bay buying for Canadians.
  2. I got it right with model last week so I'm going there again this week. Can I hit 2 fer 2?
  3. There used to be one in B.C. that was quite well liked (Model Express?) but he closed down last year or the year before. I know some hobby stores in Toronto like Hornet Hobbies, Wheels & Wings, Sunward Hobbies etc are more than willing to do mail order. But whether there's anyone specializing in mail order in Canada anymore I do not know.
  4. Especially surprising considering how many resin bodies that have come out for the Moebius Hudsons.
  5. Great build. Always love to see a Mark Martin car. Kudos!

    Drag Mustang

Very nice! It has attitude and the colour is very cool.
  7. Very sharp! It would be nice to have the next generation Chargers as well.
  8. Very nicely done! Love the Revell DTM kits and you've done a great job with it.
  9. 71 Riv? Maybe. As much as I would love to see one, it doesn't have the drag or stock car second issues possibilities like the previously released or upcoming Moebius Models had/have. But it could make a great custom or gasser? Anyway hopefully we see one some day.
  10. Generally, I think we as car model builders do tend to weather too evenly. That said I partially blame rat rods especially the ones who put false patina on their cars. If you check out people like Dr Cranky, Chuck Doane, Bill Borgen and Dave Roehrle, they have weathering down quite well. Also if you have a chance check out the Weathering Civilian vehicles book by A.K. Interactive. Great work there.
  11. Wow! The salt air sure has been working on that one! Great weathering!
  12. Welcome! Lot's of good info here.
  13. Welcome to the forum! Quite a few of us from Ontario on here. Just a heads up though, they require a full name on this forum. Don't want you to run afoul of the moderators.
  14. Nice clean build. Great work on that 'Stang.
  15. No, Norm now has a 2014 price list. Picked one up at NNL East. Can't find my 2013 list so I don't know if there is much of a change in pricing.
  16. Welcome to the forum, Eric. Tons of good info here.
  17. Well, I hate to pile on but my friends know that, in this case, I agree with Lee. The one and only Batmobile.
  18. Well, right or wrong year, that's a pretty awesome police cruiser. Kudos!
  19. Scott, that is just too cool for school! Love the work into this and appreciate the back story. A Beetle Batmobile, whoda thunk it? Kudos!
  20. James, if this is your first model, I really look forward to seeing what comes off your workbench next. Keep up the good work.
  21. Very cool ProTouring looking car! While I understand some of the dislike for the rear spoiler, I think it ties in well with the ProTouring theme. Kudos!
  22. I would say Packard as well because of the shape of the grill shell and the hub caps. Mid to late 20's?
  23. Wow! I've never heard of Tool but those kids rock! The vocalist certainly does a great job and the rest are fantastic as well.
  24. Great job on the race weary look! Looks like it's been through a long rough race. Kudos!
  25. Very nice! Great job on the flames.
