  1. Welcome to the forum, Dennis. You have some really nice builds there.
  2. Welcome to the forum. Hope someone with more Camaro knowledge than me can answer your questions.
  3. Wow! Bang up job on the wood! The rest of the model's pretty sharp too.
  4. Interesting little critter. It's red...
  5. That is a great build for your first one back. I think you did a really good job on that interior. Look forward to seeing more from your workbench.
  6. Welcome, Paul. I believe many of us here are fluent in Geek and Nerd.
  7. Ewan, IPMS stands for International Plastic Modellers Society. They are traditionally more armour and plane oriented and car guys and that group usually don't mesh that well. But that seems to be changing and the IPMS Toronto and the Barrie group are very welcoming to us. Of course if you feel like driving to Toronto there are car (and truck) only groups there such as Group 25 with an event coming up next Sunday Feb 16.
  8. There is an IPMS type club that meets at the Barrie Library the last Thursday of the month. Although I haven't attended one of their meetings, I know some of them from the Toronto IPMS and they seem to be an easy going bunch of builders. I believe the name is Simcoe Scale Modellers.
  9. Hey! Someone close to me! Welcome to the forum, Ewan! Lots of knowledge here. Take advantage of it. Hope you enjoy your stay. Do you meet with the group in Barrie?
  10. Hmmm…. I just clued it's Sunday, not Saturday. Since I'll be down Saturday don't know if I'll turn around and come down again the next day. I'll have to think about it...
  11. Thanks for the info, Tom. Look forward to seeing it at NNL East,
  12. Welcome to the forum, Chance. I only have a stupid phone so I can't help you with your question.
  13. Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it here.
  14. Tom, what base colour are you using for the wood parts? It's certainly looking good so far.
  15. Wow! 500 pages of What did you get today?. We've bought a lot of stuff over the years….
  16. Welcome, Rick! Following the Donn Yost style can help you tremendously. His results speak for themselves. Enjoy!
  17. Welcome, Mickael! Good start. Keep going. It is by doing that we learn. And take advantage of the experience and advice here on the board.
  18. Dude! That is sweet! Beautiful model.
  19. Very nice, Danno! I just love a well built stock Model A. Kudos!

  22. Very nice Prancing Horse! Beautiful build.
  23. Wow! John, that is an absolutely beautiful pair of builds. The Blue Wonder is especially incredible. Great job John and Greg and Gary and other contributors.
  24. Welcome to the forum, Ron. Lot to be learned here. Hope you enjoy your stay. Try not to go stir crazy with all this snow.
  25. They are both nice clean builds. Interesting seeing 2 different generations in the same colour. Makes a nice comparison between the 2.
