Both are great builds! Love the decals you chose for the McLaren. Great colour choice on the wagon too. I can't seem to decide what colour to paint mine.
That's cool about the cell phone thing….at least for you guys. For most of us from north of the border our lovely cellphone service providers charge outrageous roaming fees so much so that we usually are scrambling to shut our phones off before we cross.
I have to agree. Love Hemmings Classic Cars magazine. Great reference mag on multiple classic car topics. I subscribed when the Great Race came through a couple of years ago and I keep renewing as I enjoy it so much.
My wife crochets, spins and does rug hooking. We have 7 spinning wheels around the house, antique and modern. The rug is not wool type latch hooking but done with strips of fabric through burlap with either commercial designs printed on or her own designs traced on.
There was a duo in a small town here in Ontario know for taking popular song and turning them into parody, mostly political but some other. Their take on this song? "Keeps me searching for a manifold…….And I'm getting cold…" Describes their search through junk yards looking for a manifold for their car.
I can see it now; Start the race at 7 in the morning, run 20 laps, stop and plug the car in, 6 hours later run another 20 laps, stop and plug the car in, 6 hours later run another 20 laps, stop and plug the car in…..
Welcome, Angie! Glad to see both you and your hubby enjoying the hobby together. Lots of good info here and I hope you both show off your builds with us.
