  1. That Woody is coming along really well. Doing a great job with it.
  2. I guess we can just post a couple at a time. Here are a couple more. [YT] [/YT] [YT] [/YT]
  3. I really like this group Postmodern Jukebox led by Scott Bradlee. They do modern songs but done to rhythm & tempo from a bygone era. [YT] [/YT] [YT] [/YT]
  4. Looking good so far. Love the wiring on the engine.
  5. All the ones previously mentioned are excellent channels to watch. They have a lot of tips and techniques. I have one but it's mostly just me talking about model related stuff and not much there as far as tips and such. I am currently uploading video from NNL East over the next few days.
  6. Yeah, for me it was an 11+ hour ride. Left Wayne at 9:00 a.m. got home just after 8:00 p.m. Of course we were dropping bodies off all over Ontario. But I'm the furthest of our group of travellers. That said many Thanks to Tom, Bart, Ken, Bill, Dave, Al and all the rest of the TSSMCC group for putting on another great show. Got to meet Charlie and I saw your fantastic Barracuda, John. Also got to renew other friendships from past years and I did lighten my wallet significantly. All in all another great NNL East. Thanks everyone
  7. It's funny you ask this question as it came up down at NNL East. When I first joined a model car club over 20 years ago, I said I was mainly interested in replica stock. But over the intervening years I've found I could now basically care less about stock and am now far more interested in rods & customs. In the Revell 3rd quarter announcements I find I could care less about the 67 Camaro or the new Mustang etc but am really excited about the Blue Bandito. If you'd have told me that 20 years ago I would have said "No Way! I have no use for hot rods!" It's funny how we change over the years.
  8. I hope you guys don't sell out all the good stuff before we get there tomorrow! Looking forward to picking stuff up from you 'n Kris. Heading to bed now as I'm getting up at 3a.m. to start the adventure.
  9. Beautiful clean build for a first model back. Kudos!
  10. Wow! At first I thought you were trying to pass off photos of a real car as a model. Beautiful, clean build, sir.
  11. Hoping to be at the host hotel around 5. There will be 5 of us coming in 1 vehicle. Look forward to seeing everyone again.
  12. Cool classic Japanese car. Nice clean build.
  13. Very nice Lexus. Love the colour.
  14. Wow! Very cool Porsche! Cleanly built.
  15. What the Duke boys might have driven if they went Mustang instead of Mopar. Great concept.
  16. Somehow I can't picture the Duke boys with a Corvette. That said it's a great concept with good execution. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Very nice! Sweet traditional rod.
  18. Welcome, Franky! Lot's of good info here. Enjoy.
  19. Just to clarify, I said MCW isn't doing shows anymore. Scalefinishes does but I don't think he comes east as he is not listed in the vendors on the NNL East website. Thanks for pointing that out, Jonathan, as I wouldn't want people to think that Scalefinishes never does shows.
  20. No problem. I know what it's like to get all geared up to do some buying just to find out the vendor you were planning to buy from isn't there. I would say anywhere between 15 and 25 is about average. It depends what you are comfortable with and what the paint likes. That said some people spray at much higher pressure say 50 and it works for them.
  21. Be aware, John that MCW isn't doing shows anymore and I don't think Scale finishes will be there either. Check NNL East website for list of vendors. Not trying to bring you down, just what to make you aware that paint availability may not be what you are hoping.
  22. Sweet! Love your colour combo. Very nice build.
  23. Way to go, Frank! Hope it works out well for you.
  24. Race Motor Replicas have one. RMR is listed in the aftermarket directory pinned atop this section.
  25. Very cool! Love these Rocket Bunnies. The tow vehicle is pretty cool too.
