That's a fantastic build! It looks like what I've seen in VW World magazine and occasionally on The Samba. It would indeed have fit well in the Real or Model section.
My gosh they're hard up for help here!
Seriously Pat is a level headed guy that will be an asset to the Model Cars Magazine Forum. Good luck keeping us all in line Pat!
Well Joe it goes to prove we're all different because I really enjoy the B-J auctions. I do agree however, that they get to be a bit much. It was much more effective when it was on once in January and that was it. Now they have 3 or 4 live auctions and then repackage to whole shebang to show over and over again. That's when it gets boring. The live stuff from Scottsdale is fun though. Especially last night waiting to see if the whole thing was going to blow away.
To each his own I guess.
THE OTHER THEMES ARE: Repeat: One of the things to remember is that the main themes for NNL East are: 1985: Back to the Future any vehicle from the 80's AND Pickup Lines: What's the Utes, Any form of pickup. The 32 5 window and Sedan are just the internet theme. Just sayin...

Sure! Good ploy Gregg. Hook us on the new Chat room then watch us panting like junkies when we can't get our fix. Get us hooked on it then take it away so we sweat then give it back for a few days then take it away again...yeah sure I can see where this is going...we'll do whatever you want just so we can have our chat room priviledges back.. Lying, stealing it will be a slippery slope. Yes I can see it now.
Why yes I do spend too much time by myself. Why do you ask?
He has this article in the latest issue of Fine Scale Modeler so I guess he's still active in the hobby. Post-apocalyptic Peugot

Check out the pics from the Kingston Modelrama held in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Approx. 250 entries. Check out the Futureliner built by a 20 year old modeler. Wow!

Glad to see some of the board's members at the show. Saw the Big Kahuna when he first arrived at the Ramada. Here are the pics I took. Enjoy!
