  1. Hello Andre. Welcome to the group. Good crowd here including a few from Ontario.
  2. Hey Eric, that's a pretty clean effort for a return to the hobby. Great work! Love the paint!
  3. That is one slick samba. Nicely done VW!
  4. That is one very fine lookin' race car Steve! Nice clean build. Kudos.
  5. Oh Great! Now despite having about 4 of the original issue around, I'm now going to have to go out and get at least a couple of this issue for the new stuff. It's tough being a styrene junkie.....
  6. I plan on being there. Can hardly wait! Might be helping to transport that Redmond fellow. Depends how we sort ourselves out.
  7. I have to add my kudos as well. That is one fantastic build and the imaginative accessories just top it off. Great Work!
  8. Wow! That is one serious little Sunbeam racer! I like it. Love to see it booming around Mosport.
  9. That is one sweet coyote! Very nice build sir.
  10. That's a fantastic build! It looks like what I've seen in VW World magazine and occasionally on The Samba. It would indeed have fit well in the Real or Model section.
  11. Oh thanks George! Now my mind is fighting with this image of Pat as Barney Fife. Oh now my brain hurts!
  12. My gosh they're hard up for help here! Seriously Pat is a level headed guy that will be an asset to the Model Cars Magazine Forum. Good luck keeping us all in line Pat!
  13. Well Joe it goes to prove we're all different because I really enjoy the B-J auctions. I do agree however, that they get to be a bit much. It was much more effective when it was on once in January and that was it. Now they have 3 or 4 live auctions and then repackage to whole shebang to show over and over again. That's when it gets boring. The live stuff from Scottsdale is fun though. Especially last night waiting to see if the whole thing was going to blow away. To each his own I guess.
  14. This is my daily driver 2004 Ford Focus wagon. The pic in my avatar is the fair weather summer driver 1931 Model A Ford Town Sedan.
  15. I have to chime in and say that is a real clean build of that kit. I makes me want one. Great work!
  16. THE OTHER THEMES ARE: Repeat: One of the things to remember is that the main themes for NNL East are: 1985: Back to the Future any vehicle from the 80's AND Pickup Lines: What's the Utes, Any form of pickup. The 32 5 window and Sedan are just the internet theme. Just sayin...
  17. Bumbles is one sharp lookin' bug. Great work!

  19. Hi from beautiful snowy Penetanguishene, Ontario!
  20. Great job Erik! Makes me want to go out and pick one of those up. Nice colour as a change from the usual silver.
  21. Somebody's knocking at the door. C'mon let me in!
  22. Sure! Good ploy Gregg. Hook us on the new Chat room then watch us panting like junkies when we can't get our fix. Get us hooked on it then take it away so we sweat then give it back for a few days then take it away again...yeah sure I can see where this is going...we'll do whatever you want just so we can have our chat room priviledges back.. Lying, stealing it will be a slippery slope. Yes I can see it now. Why yes I do spend too much time by myself. Why do you ask?
  23. Group 25 in Toronto is 33 years old. Formed in 1976. Anyone wanna disco?
  24. jhuntsman: That kit hasn't been done in quite awhile but it was very common in it's day. They show up on the auction sites or at contest/flea markets.
  25. That's a good looking Stig you have there. Not very talkitive sort is he? He'll really drive the wheels of your sports cars though.
