  1. He has this article in the latest issue of Fine Scale Modeler so I guess he's still active in the hobby. Post-apocalyptic Peugot Some "mad" fun with a rally car kit By Pat Covert
  2. Check out the pics from the Kingston Modelrama held in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Approx. 250 entries. Check out the Futureliner built by a 20 year old modeler. Wow! http://public.fotki.com:80/fordalover/kingston-model-car-/
  3. Glad to see some of the board's members at the show. Saw the Big Kahuna when he first arrived at the Ramada. Here are the pics I took. Enjoy! http://public.fotki.com/fordalover/nnl-east-2009/ Peter
  4. I don't know if he is Marcos. I dug mine out from last year just in case he doesn't That doesn't help if you haven't been there before though does it?

Hey! I like it. It looks like a real little canyon carver now! Good restoration and updating on that Bimmer.
  6. Hey! That is a fantastic build of a great Canadian driver's last ride in the Lemans series. Thanks for sharing it!
  7. Our fleet includes a 2004 red Ford Focus wagon (mine), a 2004 silver Ford Focus sedan (hers) and the fine 1931 Model A Ford slant windshield Town Sedan (ours) named Archie the A featured in my avatar.
  8. Yeah! You wanna bet I have to spell it everytime I have to give my address over the phone!
  9. UUmmmm... Yeah what those guys said. Just a lame excuse to post to show my Model A avatar.
  10. WooHoo! Got my January 2009, Issue #138 issue today. Sorry I know this is old news to most of you but I just had to share especially considering that the next issue is out already.
  11. Well A day late and a penny short but Happy (belated) Birthday Gregg! Hope you had a good one!
  12. Wow! Lucky you guys! I just got my December issue yesterday. I should get my January issue in about 3 weeks then. Glad to know when I should start looking for it.
  13. You know until I saw this work in progress I could have cared less about the new nova kit. But I really like the look of this build Irv. And it has that certain rake to it.... Peter
  14. Second try. Hope you can join us in Toronto on September 28.
  15. Sorry this first attempt is a mess that i accidently posted . Moderator feel free to delete this. Hope you can join us.
  16. Clay, What you see is what I got. Unfortunately I was kinda late in gettin' around to taking pics. I missed a lot of the dioramas and some other stuff including a neat Model A pick-up hot rod in an Army paint scheme. I guess I also missed the green monster truck. Sorry. Peter
  17. Spent a good part of the day resizing pics for my fotki site. Got them posted a couple of places yesterday but ran out of time to get them here. Met Gregg briefly at Cheeseburger Paradise (it pays to wear a Model Cars t-shirt.) Had a great time there this year and hope to be there again next year. http://public.fotki.com/fordalover/nnl-east-2008/
  18. Hey! There I am in the group photo! I was there after all. It wasn't just a strange dream. I'm sitting to Rick Forrester's left (on the right of him as look at the pic). It was a great time again this year. Peter
  19. Hey! There I am in the group photo! I was there after all. It wasn't just a strange dream. LOL! I'm sitting to Rick Forrester's left (on the right of him as look at the pic). It was a great time again this year. Peter
  20. Don't do it Gregg! I hear this guy is a flake and a trouble maker and probably won't show up at NNL East anyway....LOL! Sorry I couldn't help myself... Peter
  21. Wow! The dragster is really well done! Love the 1:1 as well. Look forward to seeing your truck in New Jersey.
  22. I'll be there as well as Ken Nesbitt. (We're both from Group 25.) Really looking forward to it. Staying at the Ramada. A name tag for us would be really cool. Thanks Gregg Peter McDonald
  23. Yes I read that too. I don't know whether it's true or not but I'm a tad disappointed. Was planning on buying from all 3 of those vendors. Since you're at the show anyway, it saves on shipping and in Black Gold's case we can't get their product shipped here to Canada so it's my only chance to get HOK products. I was really looking forward to getting my hands on those 32 pickups from rep & min. Oh well, a chance to check out some new guys I guess. But still plan to have a great time in Jersey!
  24. Hope the little Hawaiian dude knows how to run a dog team or a scoot as water is still frozen solid here on the shores of Georgian Bay. Also hope he's wearing more than most Hawaiian dudes or he'll freeze his um.... cahunas(?) off!
  25. I believe that is a diecast early Ford Econoline. Sharp little model and great to have those signatures. You have good friends Tom.
