  4. Very nice. Great paint and body work. Color suits the car.
  5. Nice work on the shifter plunger. Its the little things that make a big differnce. Time well spent.
  6. Glad to see an update and that your wife's health is improving. Wood graih looks great. Keep up the good work.
  7. Looks like a good start. Definitely will be following along.
  8. Both very good points. If you are wanting to look at specific content the use the follow button. You will see what you want to see. Adding more subforums will not help. Second go through and look for threads on cars you like and comment on them. You will connect with those of like interests. Sometimes it takes a little more effort to get what you want.
  9. Looking forward to seeing this.
  10. I thought he was a good actor. Enjoyed him as Spock, He also did a part in the old mission impossible series. May he R.I.P.
  11. Yup have had it happen to me before. To minimize the problem I assemble as much as possible, do a lot of test fitting and also mock up with white glue to reduce surprises. Also I try to mask glue points to minimize handling of painted parts. I've found that these steps reduce most final assembly problems. I use the same procedure for out of box or kitbash projects.
  12. Looking good. Looking forward to seeing paint on these pieces.
  13. Nice start.
  14. Nice. Looking forward to more.
  15. Did a little more research on this. The method chosen for funding the cartoons magazine will give whatever money collected to the person that started the campaign regardless of the goal being meet.. Most crowdfunding says you need to meet your goal to get the money to use which is the other option for the chosen crowdfunding site. Seems to me that answers a lot of questions about this endeavor.
  16. Sharp. Clean build, great paint. Great photography. Pictures make it look like the real deal.
  17. I like the idea of the cantilevered top like the lil coffin. Looking forward to seeing what you end up doing.
  18. The proposal really pie in the sky. Needs to have more details how much for artists, what will publishing costs be, etc. The monetary goal should be more realistic. It would make more sense to start on a smaller scale and then crowdfund for expanding later. At current rate he might get a couple thousand pledged in the remaining 26 days for the campaign. Bottom line this is destined to fall. Either he has no business sense or he is just having fun , however the end result will be the same.
  19. Nicely done. Looks great in black.
  20. Nice work. Did you convert the body to a 4 door? How about some details.
  21. I think I can safely say we aren't going to be seeing cartoons magazine. I would be curious to see the crowding proposal. Can't image what he thinks he needs a million dollars for. Printing a magazine shouldn't cost that much. Also I doubt that a niche magazine is going to have that big of a following.
  22. Nice work. Great job on the frame. Nice work on the body mods. Looking forward to seeing more.
  23. Great job on the weathering. Stance looks good.
  24. Nice work. The paint is great. What areas did you needs to trim. I have one prepped for paint and am curious about the issues.
  25. As far as items falling into the abyss there are two site features that can help. One is the tag feature which will show all items with tags. And second the follow button which provides a list of threads you are following. As far as getting people to comment it helps to indicate that you are looking for feedback.
