  3. I believe that it had been redone for the 75th anniversary of the 32 Ford at the roadster show .display Just love the guy selling it. doesn't give builder credit and doesn't know that it has been restored. For that asking price he should know what he's talking about. bobthehobbyguy
  4. I got one better than that. A friend of mine managed to hit the only other car in a parking lot on evening leaving work. Never would ride with him after that if we were going somewhere I did the driving. bobthehobbyguy
  5. Just bought this book at my Barnes and Noble and it is great. Lots of cool ideas for rat rods or just for some wild hot rods. Some of the ideas would work as a rat or shiny. bobthehobbyguy
  6. John, Another great model in progress. How did you weather the tires? They really look right. bobthehobbyguy
  7. Like this concept. Any more progress on this. bobthehobbyguy
  8. Interesting idea for doing the grooves. What speed are you using to do the grooves? Also like the way you did the body to make it look like it had been dented and then pounded out. Looking forward to seeing more. bobthehobbyguy
  9. Stewart, Like the look you are going for. The paint issue you are having with the hood may be the mold release for the resin. Did you use Westly bleche white to clean the hood? bobthehobbyguy
  10. Nice start. Like that you are doing a mild custom normally these cars are built stock or as prostreet/streetmachine. Looking forward to seeing more. bobthehobbyguy
  11. Horsepower, Thought that was the case but its hard to judge from photos. bobthehobbugy
  12. Really nice job. You have a good eye for design. Like the interior. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing this painted. bobthehobbyguy
  13. Do you remember where the wheels came from on the cuda? bobthehobbyguy
  14. Looking forward to building this one. Have a couple of the pre- resin hood. What stopped me was when all of the chrome is cleaned up it needs to be replated. Plan to use alclad for the chrome. Hope they clean this one up a bit What is the best orange to use for this? bobthehobbyguy
  15. Dave, I downloaded the pdf and it is a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing By the way what did you use for creating the tutorial. bobthehobbyguy
  16. Great model. Would you provide some details on how you did the wire wheels for the front? bobthehobbyguy
  17. Really cool idea. Looks like something Chip Foose would do. Keep up the good work. Any thoughts on color? bobthehobbyguy
  18. John, Wow another amazing build!! It is amazing how much white plastic there is that shows all of the scratchbuilding that you've done.. Thanks for sharing your work I've can say I've learned a bunch watching your builds. bobthehobbyguy
  19. Dr, Have you stalled out on this? Looking forward to seeing it finished. bobthehobbyguy
  20. Geebee, Nice job on this model. The alclad came out great. Like your idea for lining up the tires. What are they? bobthehobbyguy
  21. Looks like a good start. Looking forward to seeing more. bobthehobbyguy
  22. Looks like a good start. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this one. bobthehobbyguy
  23. Really cool project. Love the idea of sleeveing the holes in the frame . Wanted to do a frame with holes but with plastic it would be too fragile without reinforcement. bobthehobbyguy
  24. I agree it would also make a cool flying car. However the boat idea is really cool. bobthehobbyguy
  25. The chop is perfect for this car. Are you keeping it a four door or are you going to make it a 2 door? bobthehobbyguy
