  1. Just bought this book at my Barnes and Noble and it is great. Lots of cool ideas for rat rods or just for some wild hot rods. Some of the ideas would work as a rat or shiny. bobthehobbyguy
  2. John, Another great model in progress. How did you weather the tires? They really look right. bobthehobbyguy
  3. Like this concept. Any more progress on this. bobthehobbyguy
  4. Interesting idea for doing the grooves. What speed are you using to do the grooves? Also like the way you did the body to make it look like it had been dented and then pounded out. Looking forward to seeing more. bobthehobbyguy
  5. Stewart, Like the look you are going for. The paint issue you are having with the hood may be the mold release for the resin. Did you use Westly bleche white to clean the hood? bobthehobbyguy
  6. Nice start. Like that you are doing a mild custom normally these cars are built stock or as prostreet/streetmachine. Looking forward to seeing more. bobthehobbyguy
  7. Horsepower, Thought that was the case but its hard to judge from photos. bobthehobbugy

  10. Looking forward to building this one. Have a couple of the pre- resin hood. What stopped me was when all of the chrome is cleaned up it needs to be replated. Plan to use alclad for the chrome. Hope they clean this one up a bit What is the best orange to use for this? bobthehobbyguy

  12. Great model. Would you provide some details on how you did the wire wheels for the front? bobthehobbyguy
  13. Really cool idea. Looks like something Chip Foose would do. Keep up the good work. Any thoughts on color? bobthehobbyguy

  15. Dr, Have you stalled out on this? Looking forward to seeing it finished. bobthehobbyguy
  16. Geebee, Nice job on this model. The alclad came out great. Like your idea for lining up the tires. What are they? bobthehobbyguy

  18. Looks like a good start. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this one. bobthehobbyguy
  19. Really cool project. Love the idea of sleeveing the holes in the frame . Wanted to do a frame with holes but with plastic it would be too fragile without reinforcement. bobthehobbyguy
  20. I agree it would also make a cool flying car. However the boat idea is really cool. bobthehobbyguy
  21. The chop is perfect for this car. Are you keeping it a four door or are you going to make it a 2 door? bobthehobbyguy
  22. Nice job Hard to believe that this was a glue bomb. Really like this car but I won't pay the silly prices, Sure wish they would reissue they would sell a bunch. Bobthehobbyguy
  23. Ira, Looking good. Is this going to front or rear engine? What engine are you planning to do? bobthehobbyguy
  24. Nameless National Luminaries. It was coined from comments that Mark Gustavson made when the first GSL didn't get attended. Not sure of the origin of it being a display versus a contest though. bobthehobbyguy
