  1. What are good methods to simulate valour type material on seats? Also, how to replicate vinyle? Thanks.
  2. I forgot to add that I e-mailed RMR asking when the release would be and was told it would come out in a few months.
  3. That's excellant news. Three weeks ago I also posted this news with the web address link. I've been trying to master a 73 Pontiac Grand AM for a few years , body is pretty much done.
  4. There is really no transition from novice to intermediate or other different levels of modelling. What your doing in essence is adding things or trying new things. Maybe scratchbuilding more. Those are things that shows the different levels of modelling. It really has nothing to do with being novice, intermediate or advanced. Those are just subjective levels based on who you ask.
  5. Was on this resin casters website and they list a 77' Pontiac Can AM coming soon. Anyone know how their resin products are? http://rmrresin.webs.com/nf116.htm
  6. I found it. Excellant source of reference here and it's free. Everyone should bookmark this. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/main.php
  7. The website is an archive of automotive literature. The site does not sell the literature but allows you to open up any automotive literature and you can see all the details. It's perfect for us model builders. It is a great site, but I don't remember the web address. Thanks. George
  8. http://cgi.ebay.com/1966-Buick-Skylark-Wagon-Vista-Cruiser-kit-built-NICE_W0QQitemZ220623512454QQcategoryZ2581QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m8QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DMW%26its%3DC%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D5%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7649311155490584936 Really impressive model.
  9. 1973-1977 Pontiac Lemans 1981-1987 pontiac Grand Prix.
  10. Believe it or not the old MPC 68' Coronet was not modified into the 69. The model company does have the body. Some pieces are missing. Hopefully they will release that one someday.
  11. Any new model previews?
  12. Are the Zingers kits out?
  13. Outstanding issue. Great articles; especially the one with the Ford LTD. Keep up the good work. This magazine gets better and better.
  14. How do you like the service? How did you go about transferring your number from a major cell carrier to Tracfone?
  15. What year Grand Prix kit?
  16. Have Tom Mc Qewen 1/16 dragster from 74'. Tires have melted and looking for another set. Who sells the replacement soft slick tires? Thanks. George
  17. I built the Polar Lights 65' Coronet too. I agree with some of the innacuracies that others pointed out. If I were to build another Polar Lights Coronet I would just use the body ,interior, glass, chrome and for everything else I need I would get from the Lindberg 64 Dodge.
  18. Is a very good website where you would click on AMT or MPC, IMC, Revell etc and you would see the listings of back in the day kits and pics of them. Was on the site couple of weeks ago and did not book mark it. If someone knows the link ,can you post it? Thank you. George
  19. Has any of the resin companies casted the 79'-87' Pontiac Grand Prix?
  20. Can someone post pics of the contents of the new updated Dukes of Hazzard Charger kit? Thanks.
  21. I agree with you Chuck about what tooling is lurking deep down in the vaults. If Round 2 can resurrect kits such as the old MPC 68' or 69' Dodge Coronet R/T or the 67' and 68" Pontiac Grand Prix kits there will definetly be a buying frenzy by us model car builders . This in turn will allow Round 2 to see that producing those Holy grail kits will justify to fix old tooling and get more varieties of kits to production.
  22. Those that are using Plasticote or Duplicolor laquer paints, what thinner are you using for airbrushing the paints? Thanks.
  23. Pretty interesting. Just a thought. You can take the paper pattern and glue it onto thin sheet plastic and do all the parts in plastic instead of paper. It would make for a nicer and stronger body.
  24. Is this the recent Modelhaus issue of the 70' Coronet 4 door? When did you buy yours? I noticed that the rear wheel openings are the same shape as the 2 door . Modelhaus just reissued the updated one recently but don't know if they ever corrected the rear wheel openings.
