  1. Tried clicking on the link for your website. It's not working.
  2. Stevens International has an outstanding set redline tires.
  3. There definetly is a need for pics. But, their products are nothing short of outstanding. I've bought from Modelhaus at the NNL east. Their castings are as good or better than castings from the modelcar manufacturers.
  4. Came across this MPC order form showing a picture of the 68' Coronet being modeled and prepared for production. Very interesting to see some of the process of what was done to get kits into production. What do the companies do with large scale mockups after the kit has finished it's production run? It was a dissapointment to all when 5 years ago , there was an announcement that the 68 Coronet was going to come out again but then was cancelled. I sure hope that Round 2 will go ahead reissue this kit. Never say never, we have seen vintage kits that we thought would never come out again and sure enough they did come out. Maybe the 68 will be on the hobby shop shelves again.
  5. Definetly interested in the 69 AMC Rebel.
  6. I hope Revell has an all new 1/25 scale kit of the 68' Dodge Coronet R/T up their sleeves.
  7. I'm working on the new Opel GT kit. Would like to do a better detailed rear suspension. Has anyone done this. Any pics? Thank you. George
  8. I want to build a little more detailed rear suspension for the drag gasser version of the Opel GT. Has anyone done this? Any pics would be very much appreciated. Thanks. George
  9. I found an extra chrome reverse wheel from my old Opel GT kit that I broke back in the day. Yes, there were 4 of those reverse wheels that came in the kit back in the day. According to the instructions, the reverse wheels were for the drag car option.
  10. I bought the kit today. I was impressed by the organized layout of the box contents. However, I am not a big fan of the flat box. It has all the parts just as it did when this was out back in 71' and 72', when I last built this kit. I don't remember back then having a third style hood. As mentioned earlier in this thread , there is only one chrome reverse wheel. Wonder if Round 2 spotted this. Also, there was mention of a little flashing not trimmed from the windshield frame. That's an easy fix. Some costs would have been saved if they used the smaller regular size model box and not included the artwork. Those two things would have been the only changes I would have made to the kit. It's an excellant kit. I'll have fun building this one.
  11. Any members down in South Florida? Mopar model contest in conjunction with the Florida Mopar Connection's 25th Florida Mopar Nationals. The contest is put on by the very active Model Car Creations of South Florida model car club. Event is from 10AM-5PM. Location is at University Dodge, in Davie, Florida. Located on University Drive, just north of Stirling Road and 1 mile south of Griffin Road.
  12. 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T Any 78-87 Pontiac Grand Prix 1968 AMC Rebel
  13. Most definetly, the 68 Dodge Coronet R/T. Please Round 2 lets release this one from the MPC vaults.
  14. Include me on the Wacky Racers cars. They were kitted in the late sixties early 70's. I remember getting one from a boxtop cereal offer.
  15. What's the rumors flying around on future model subjects. Anything interesting?
  16. My holy grail would be the MPC 68' Dodge Coronet R/T
  17. Now I've seen everything. It's Perri the squirrel model kit by Revell.
  18. Here are two built ups that I have. These are the way I got them. The silver one I got in 93'. Someone had put the custom grill and hood. The black one I got a few months ago. Stock parts on that one.
  19. Would love to see pics of your original MPC 68' Coronet R/T built up.
  20. Johan will always be a mystery to all. Does anyone on this board know any of the ex-employees that worked at Johan? Those are the people that can really give us the true story of the inner workings going on at Johan. Would love to read their firsthand accounts about the day to day operations.
  21. Very interesting photos. Had no idea that the molds were small. Were there more than one mold for each car in order to have a good pace on production? They must not have done huge amounts of production like Revell, AMT , etc. Were Johan kits produced in small amounts compared to the other kit companies? Judging from the pics of the tables with the molds, looks like it was a messy and cluttered place to work at.
  22. It's nice that they did a Foose styled 67' Coronet. However, not really the style of car for the execution. Had Revell done an all new 68' Dodge Coronet years ago instead of the 67' Coronet R/T; that would have been better suited as a Foose edition model. In my opinion a sleeker body with custom wheels . This would sell better than the 67'. Which brings me to another question. Does anyone know why Revell even chose to kit a 67' Coronet R/T instead of a 68'? How did they determine that the 67' was the year to go with?
  23. The $2200 price for the desk top unit is pretty afordable. This will revolutionize the resin casting industry. No need for making a mold when you got the file in 3D.
  24. Definetly, the 68' Dodge Coronet R/T should be considered for release. I hope the kit companies are seeing this thread. The 68' Coronet R/T can easily be a 3 in 1 kit. A stock street version, nascar version (#99 Paul Goldsmith car) and a drag version. This would be a very flexible kit. I beleive there is a good chance for this to come out and we may very well see this happening.
  25. I would contact MCW and ask to buy just the front grill and tail lights that they cast for their 66' Belvedere.
