  1. I would be interested in the 90-91 Crown Vic. Will it have the correct 90-91 interior and dash guages? Would want to see a casting/test shot first. There was a resin company a few years ago that cast a 90-91 Crown Vic. The roof line was off and roof height was incorrect.
  2. Here are my 5 subjects 1. MPC 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T Hardtop 2. MPC 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T Feverbee 3. MPC 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T Hardtop 4. AMT 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix 5 MPC 76-80 Plymouth Volare Roadrunner
  3. Was on Model Round Up's site and read the Tee Vee Dune Buggy will be part of their model line up some time in the future. Has anyone built that back in the day? Anyone have pics of one finished?
  4. Where did the announcement about the release of these 1/8 bikes come from? Just checked Round 2's site , but did not find anything.
  5. So the Buffalo, NY Hobby Lobby's have them? So, if that's the case; hopefully they will soon show up at the Hobby Lobby down here.
  6. Down here in South Florida, I have not seen any at Hobby Lobby yet. The kit has been out for almost 3 months. Anyone find any Cyclones at their local Hobby Lobby? All I see at Hobby Lobby are the Pepsi Chevelles.
  7. Has anyone seen the Donnie Allison Cyclones at Hobby Lobby yet? At the one I go to, there is only the Pepsi Chevelle.
  8. Since Hobby Lobby has the Nascar Laguna, hopefully we'll see the Cyclone there as well.
  9. Would love to see a reissue of the MPC 68 Coronet R/T. We almost got one a few years ago.
  10. I beleive we will see the 70 Charger R/T come out. That would be a big seller. I hope we will also see the 68 Coronet R/T come out too. I don't know if Round 2 or Moebius realize that if these two get produced, the kit sales would be tremendous for both,
  11. Wanted to ask the resin casters how you are resin casting steering wheels. I have been resin casting small parts. The castings come out nice. But, when I cast a steering wheel the steering wheel remains bendable after the resin has cured for a while. However, other parts that I cast ; once cured fully, are nice and hard. It's just the steering wheels that remain a little soft. Those that cast resin parts , how do you get a more rigid casting of a steering wheel?
  12. Outstanding. Body looks great. I would do another one, but instead ; try to make the more correct front grill and nose that was on the 79-86 Capri's.
  13. Is that kit still available?
  14. Maybe in 2015 we will finally see an all new release of the 68' Dodge Coronet R/T.
  15. Wanted to say thanks to all who responded to this topic I posted. I never expected this much of a response. This became a very interesting topic.
  16. Here is my wish list: 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T 67-69 AMC Rebel 78-87 Pontiac Grand Prix
  17. The big question now is; will we ever see the MPC 68' Coronet R/T released again? It almost happened back in 2007. But, it got cancelled. Maybe Round 2 or even Moebius will see that there there is a huge demand for this kit. It's tooling would allow flexibility to offer a`stock street version, a drag version such a Dick Landy drag car or even a Paul Goldsmith nascar. Any rumblings or hints from the kit manufacturers on a 68' Coronet R/T release?
  18. To keep on track of this topic; were there any sketches or drawings done of the Johan Fury kit pictured ie; parts layout of body , interior, etc ? The only other picture I have seen is on the instruction from the 68' Police Fury; there is a picture of the roof section that looks identical to the shape of a 69 and up Plymouth Fury.
  19. I remember a while back a thread called ghost kits. Kits that were supposed to be released but never was. In that thread there was talk about Johan doing a 1970 Plymouth Fury back in 1970. Here is the Johan model car release ad that was on pg. 7 of the Model Car magazine. Whats is pictured is a 1970 Plymouth Fury police car. Other models advertised were the Haulin Hearse, AMC Hornet and 1970 Plymouth Superbird..
  20. I would add the MPC 68' and 69' Dodge Coronet R/T to the list of kits that may not have been butchered. I would be surprised that MPC used those to modify into the 70' Coronet R/T kit. The 70 is a very different car in the front fenders, grill , rear quarters and tailpanel areas. Maybe new tooling from scratch was the route MPC took to do a new Coronet kit for 1970. It's just speculation. Maybe Round 2 is looking into reissuing both years, but have not decided when because of other subject matter being released. Round 2 is releasing a lot of subjects that have not seen daylight for over 40 years. And these kits are being released quickly. It's possible we may see both the 68 and 69 released in the near future. We all would love to see these come out.
  21. When will this issue be released?
  22. Did anyone on this board enter the "build the MPC 68" Dodge Coronet R/T" contest, back in the day? Where there a lot of entries? Also, any pics of the Coronets that were entered. All the contestant had to do was just send in a picture of the build. This ad was in an old Model Car Science magazine that was online.
  23. When was the last time the Corvair drag car was issued?
  24. Very good trade experience with Vintagedragcrazy. All went well. Communication went well. Very good person to do business with.
  25. Wanted to ask those that do resin casting; how do do a mold for a steering wheel?
