  1. This MPC 1970 Dodge Charger original got no bids. Also, an MPC 68 Coronet kit received no bids as well. I gather no one bid on the charger kit maybe because you can get Revell's newly released 70 Charger R/T for a lot less? Also, the Coronet got no action as well. Makes you wonder what's going on in the model collecting hobby these days. 2. I whole heartedly agree that the MPC 68 Coronet R/T is a very rare kit. Most unusual for that kit to hit over $1000. Been tracking prices on these for years. Most I've seen was in the $400 range. It's strange that in the last couple of years I am seeing more and more of the MPC 68 and 69 Coronet kits up for sale on ebay and other sites. Not quite flooding the market , but more than usual. Could this be a hint that in the future we may be seeing Round 2 release a 68 Coronet R/T kit and that individuals that have these kits now are dumping them to get the most money? Who knows.
  3. Been following this. Sealed , unopened MPC 1968 Dodge Coronet kit sold for over $1000. https://www.ebay.com/itm/MPC-1968-DODGE-CORONET-R-T-HT-ORIGINAL-FACTORY-SEALED-NOS-KIT-1768-CIRCA-1968/333289959195?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144
  4. Hindsight is 20/20. It's interesting how good we had it when Modelhaus was in business all those years. I bought a few things from then over the years. Even got to meet them at the NNL East. I wished I would have bought more. Anyone else feel the same. Now, I see alot of people looking for parts for those old kits. Parts that used to be available from Modelhaus and now no more. Modelhaus was a great parts opportunity, but like anything else, it comes to an end. What is everyone's take on this?
  5. I enjoyed building the kit. But as stated in a previous post , there are a couple of issues with it's accuracy; which is true. I also have an original AMT 65 Coronet kit and put next to the Polar Lights Coronet you can spot the differences. All in all I enjoyed building it. The Polar Lights kit is a 2 in 1; stock or drag, with 2 sets of tires and wheels. The drag tires are the nice pie crust cheater slicks.
  6. I like the looks of the clear orange that the parts are coming out with. You could do a nice looking see through display engine showing the internal parts.
  7. Any possibility that we will see the MPC 1978 Dodge truck at Hobby Lobby in a few months?

  9. Are there any resin parts available to turn the upcoming 78 Dodge pickup into other year trucks? For example; a 72 , 73, 74 or 75 front grill to back date the truck.
  10. Hello, What is the paint color for the Dyno Don Nicholson Cougar body? Thanks. George
  11. The 20% off goes until December 8th. Was at Hobby Lobby today and saw the sign. Model car section was full. I guess a lot of people are waiting after Dec. 8 to use the 40% off coupon.
  12. Oops My bad. Just saw this same similar post in the truck section.
  13. Anyone heard or read about a possible release in the works for the MPC 78 Dodge truck?
  14. Has anyone here on the board read recently about Round 2 possibly wanting to release the 71 Dodge Demon in the future. Looking to find more info on this. Thanks.
  15. Can you post pics of the Trumpeter 8 lug wheels?
  16. Back in the late 90's I passed up two 68 Coronet project cars in a Feverbee box for $100.
  17. Can you send list to my email address?

    Petri35@aol.com

    Thanks.    George

  20. Do you order parts from the modelhaustires.com site or the modelhous.com website? Looking to check on bumpers and grills, etc. Thanks.
  21. Hello,

Thanks for replying to the question about the Dyno Don Nicholson Cougar in Hobby Lobby.

If you happen to go by there again can you take a picture of it on the shelf?  Thanks.

By the way,  I  recently sent Hobby Lobby an email requesting for the to stock this kit, considering they already stock

    the MPC and AMT kits.

  22. Anyone know if Hobby Lobby will be stocking the Dyno Don Cougar drag car?
  23. Has anyone seen the MPC Dyno Don Nicholson Cougar at Hobby Lobby yet?
  24. Just the other day I was taking a quick look at the grill. On first glance it looked like there was not even an R/T emblem, it looked like that small rectangular emblem that sits to the side of the word Charger. Looking at it through a magnifying glass there is an R/T emblem. It's so tiny and hard to see through a magnifying glass that I think it will pass for a non R/T grill. Just use paint to make it a rectangle.
