  1. Looks like an 89 or 90 Toyota Corolla. My sister had one of those. She had an 89 Corolla SR-5. Nice car . Ran well.
  2. With the announcement of the 63 Chevy II wagon; you think we will see the Indy Drag Combo come out later on?
  3. This info is from the Stevens International site.
  4. You hit the nail on the head. As long as we support Round 2 , Round 2 will support us by digging into their vaults and release kits that we have been requesting for years.
  5. I agree. When these kits come out , we all need to buy them and support Round 2 . When Round 2 sees this they will be more inclined to dig deep into their vaults and do more releases that have not been out in decades.
  6. I beleive that Round 2 is just going to use the current 72 Chevy pickup kit and Wedge kit for the Racer Wedge kit since both are already available . Does that sound right?
  7. Saw this on the Steven's International site. MPC PLASTIC MODEL KITS MPC-885 1/25 1972 Chevy Racer's Wedge $35.95 TBA
  8. Saw this on Steven's Intenational website. AMT PLASTIC MODEL KITS AMT-1223 1/25 Cal Drag Combo: 1964 Ford Galaxie, Falcon Funny Car & Trailer $71.95 TBA AMT PLASTIC MODEL KITS AMT-1202 1/25 1963 Chevy II Station Wagon Craftsman Series $30.95 TBA
  9. I plan on building the Supernatural Impala as a police car. I know the hardop body is not correct for a police car, but despite that anyone planning to do the Impala as a police car?
  10. Just throwing this out there. Is this a good way to offset tooling costs in order for the model companies to come up with new model car subjects or resurrect old ones not seen in 50 years? For example, subjects such as the Olds Cutlass Streaker, 68-69 Coronet R/T, 72 Grand Prix, 71 Dodge Demon , etc could be released with the Coca Cola theme with decals. It's an opportunity to broaden the horizon by doing this.
  11. That would be something if Round 2 did do a 68-70 Satellite or Coronet wagon. Lot of good possibilities with this. 68 Coronet wagon towing a trailer with the 68 Coronet Feverbee on it. Can do a police or fire chief wagon, stock wagon. Lot's of building variations can be done with it. No 68 b-body cars came with the 440 6-pack. Six-pack cars came out in late 69. Those were the M code cars.
  12. Hobby Lobby already has it. That's good.
  13. Wow awesome job. I'm planning to my Super Nat kit as a police car. I think we will see a lot of builders doing theirs as stock, police, etc. I bet a only a handful will be done as the Supernatural Impala..
  14. Hello, Does anyone know which resin company does 1967 Chevy dogdish hubcaps that would be correct for a 67 Impala? Thanks. George
  15. Casey states: "Out of curiosity, since it's presumed the original body sections for the mold are long gone, a new body would be needed. Would you prefer to see the all-new '68 Coronet body combined with he existing AMT/MPC (Round muddied the waters with the '70 Coronet R/T) '68-'70 Mopar B-body underpinnings and a '68 specific interior?" Yes, if Round 2 did an all new body and combined it with the existing Round 2 68-70 Mopar B-body underpinnings and a 68 specific interior; I would be fine with that. Casey , you asked about cross genre appeal; I guess you are referring to the car being used on a TV show like the 67 4 door Impala on Supernatural. The 68 Coronet would have little to no cross genre appeal In my opinion I think the 68 Coronet kit would appeal to model car builders whether or not it has any cross genre appeal. It's been a highly requested kit for many years
  16. Well I guess the originator of this topic is tired of reading about model builders wanting to see a 68 Coronet kit come out again. If we don't let the kit manufactures know about model car subjects we would like to see come out , yes things will not happen. I think we as builders have a voice. The longer and louder we talk they will listen. I too would like to see a kit of the 68 Coronet come out. I beleive other builders see that too. Different versions of this kit can be done. A stock version, Dick Landy drag version, even a #99 Paul Goldsmith Nascar version. A kit like this would sell very well. Recently, Round 2 has been opening up the vaults to see what is feasible to release. The is a subject that if produced would sell well. Round 2 has even gone into uncharted waters to do all new tooling for the 1967 4 door Supernatural Impala. That 4 door is all new tooling. Those that say Round 2 will not invest money for new tooling, need to think again. The same thing can be done with an all new kit of the 68 Coronet, potentally giving them good return on investment. So, where do we go from here? It takes all of us to contact the product developement people at Round 2, Revell, even Moebius and tell them. If we keep contacting them telling them what we want to see then, maybe it will happen. That year Coronet is the only one that has not been re-done yet. Now is the time for the kit manufactures to seriously look into this subject matter.
  17. Lindberg 64 Dodge kit. (blue car with dog dishes pictured) MPC 1969 Firebird/Trans Am kit.
  18. Do you need to sign up as a customer to buy from their product line up or can you just fill out the section that asks for your email address to sign up for great offers? Thanks.
  19. I gather they only got reponses from those that might have built a model here and there during their lives. Would have been interesting to see comments on that review from those that live and breathe the hobby like we see here on this message board.
  20. This is the 68/69 Mercury Montego coupe body.
  21. Interesting article. We should keep this as a sticky in the tips and tutorials section.
  22. Does anyone know if any of the resin casters do a 68-69 Mercury Montego?
  23. Tom Geiger said: "This is gonna be fun watching people go crazy until Round 2 announces what they actually are gonna do! " I agree. It's funny to see people speculating on what might happen. For all we know, Round 2 might come out and announce they are doing a 68 Coronet station wagon.
  24. How well is the the altered wheel base Plymouth kit selling? Are the distributers seeing constant orders on these? Is there alot of people buying the kit?
