  1. No, but there are couple of kits that might be that way if I bought them (or just one of them. They’re expensive). There’s a guy in Facebook who offers a Porsche 935 K3 and a 956 or 962 in 1/8 scale, 3D printed. I would want to make it into a road car. That would be a lot of work. They are about $1000 each.
  2. https://www.facebook.com/groups/aladdinmodel/permalink/441839632212613/ This post doesn’t mention scale or price
  3. The old AMT ‘63 Corvette does have an open face helmet.
  4. I found one that was close, and injection molded. It was a set of WWII ace pilots, including Johnny Johnson and his black lab. The lab was not included. Later issues mentioned on the box that the dog is not included. I guess they got a lot of complaints.
  5. Yes, but no luck. Same with the old Indian inline-4. I know it’s on Cults somewhere, but I haven’t found it. Same with a 1/35 black Labrador retriever.
  6. That’s cool, but I don’t know about the start of something like this. I don’t have a real CBX engine to measure or scan. I’m wondering if kit parts can be scanned as a start for making parts in another scale.
  7. I’m asking because the 1/8 scale Honda CBX motorcycle kit arrived today. I would love to have the engine in 1/12 or even 1/6. It would be relatively easy to find existing kit or diecast parts in those scales for building a custom bike. Thanks, Lee
  8. I like Superfine White Milliput. It can be like Bondo or used for texture. I made the Zimmerit texture on the Tiger II tank by rolling it into thin sheets on a porcelain tile with a Teflon rod for a rolling pin. I used talcum powder to prevent from sticking to either. I scratched up the surface of the plastic with the back edge of a number 11 blade.
  9. Here’s a photo of a built kit. It’s from a thread at Britmodeller. Mine just shipped yesterday. A link for the finished model https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235094050-18-yodel-honda-cbx-1000z/
  10. Glad to hear it. I love that magazine. I made a crazy lowball offer on eBay for issues 1-77 a few years ago and won it. I had all but the first few that are so hard to find, but I got 77 issues for less than I would have spent buying the first few individually. (I don’t remember how many of the first few are so hard to find/expensive.)
  11. Unreal. I just got a Yodel 1/8 scale Honda CBX motorcycle kit, open box, sealed in bags, for $23.99 plus shipping. I’ve seen these sell for close to $400. Four people had it on their watch list. I guess they snoozed through the end of the auction. I was there, heart racing, hoping my bid would be high enough…wondering if there would be a flurry of bids at the last moment. I was the only bidder. The auction didn’t say 1/8 scale, so maybe some people thought it was the 1/15 scale kit. I want to use that engine for a custom bike like I saw in a magazine years ago. It was long and low, no fairings that I remember. Ducati single-sided swingarm. Fuel was in a pair of tanks, one on either side of the frame, aluminum or stainless tubes with a diagonal cut at each end and a convex end. It’s been years since I saw that photo. I would love to see it again, but it’s ok if I don’t. I can just use my imagination. I’m so excited!
  12. Nice work. I heard about these on Facebook, but have not seen one built. I ordered a 1/16 Henderson street motorcycle. What scale is yours?
  13. I see “Beware of this seller” posts on Facebook all the time, from people who got scammed. I wonder why people buy on there at all. Face to face I can see, but mail order? No way. eBay has protections for buyer and seller. I once bought a 1/24 airplane off eBay for a really good price. It was too good to be true. eBay refunded my money.
  14. Pickup or panel delivery truck? I have the panel delivery. Is the part you need in that kit?
  15. Or BMW 3.0csi?
  16. How about a Lamborghini Espada or 350GT?
  17. Exactly what I’m looking for. I did not know about this kit. I’ll try to find one for a good price. Thank you.
  18. I don’t have the coordination for that. I got two sizes of Bic lighters. I think that with a little work, the standard size would look good, but that still doesn’t have the Ford name on it. I guess 3D print is the way to go for this idea.
  19. I just realized I asked the same question in December of last year. There is one that might work, but it’s rare and expensive. Also, I damaged the 3D printed body. I have not had good luck with 3D printed parts that are thin.
  20. Those are some really impressive interiors! I mean WOW!
  21. I mean pay it forward. I can send you the parts. Just help someone else when you can.
  22. If you don’t have anything I’m into, just help someone else out when you can.
