  1. I thought it would be a good idea to revive this thread. Who doesn't love 32 Fords on this forum?
  2. That looks very nice. Loving the color.
  3. Very disappointing for a for a "2 in 1 Special Edition", but I guess it doesn't matter to me all that much since I just wanted the original anyway. 48 Ford and 49 Merc "Special Editions" were actually "2 in 1 Special Editions"; Revell could have at least added different rims and maybe bumpers...
  4. Very nice. Though I don't usually like rusty cars, this looks like a nice survivor.
  5. Thank you all, especially William for that detailed information. Pictures would be nice though
  6. Please don't tell me that "second version" is only a set of decals.
  7. I've been thinking about getting one of these for a while, but not sure what to expect. Has anyone ever built one of these? if so, can you share your experiences/pictures/etc? Thanks
  8. That is not a rat rod, which is a good thing. Very nice hot rod and don't you dare insult that model by calling it a rat rod.
  9. I'm sorry, but there is nothing special you can do with a chevy engine, in my opinion. May as well build it with whatever it comes with.
  10. But yeah, the 72 is my fav so good job
  11. Can't wait to throw a Boss 429 in it. Can't stand chevy engine into a Ford
  12. In the new Revell catalogue, the 40 Ford and the Model A pickup and tudor all have "new" written on them, but only "new" thing about them is the decals. This is why I'm not sure what Revell means when they throw the word "new" around. Let's hope for the best.
  13. That's too bad. I'm really curious if it's just a reissue of the highboy roadster street rod with a new engine and box art, or if this is actually a newly tooled kit with unique parts we haven't seen before.
  14. I love anything Ardun powered. Where did you get the blown Ardun from? Either way, I love this style of Willys gasser.
  15. For a first complete model that is very good. Heck, I still have never made opening doors so very good job. Love the style and the work done.
  16. Thanks! Again, love this model.
  17. I love this hot rod. Do you mind posting pictures of the underside of the car? I'd like to see how you Z'd the chassis.
  18. This is very cool. What kit is this?
  19. I love this idea! Never seen this done before.
  20. That's soooo 60s. I love it!
  21. I have heard Future may help you solve your problem. Try this http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tutorials/tutorial.asp?TutorialID=14&CurPage=1 or this http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tutorials/tutorial.asp?TutorialID=68&CurPage=1
  22. These make pretty cool sleepers. Can't wait to get my hands on one. Does anyone have any cool stock looking sleepers built out of these?? Pictures are welcome.
  23. This is awesome. I was actually planing on building a 32 Roadster with the Boss 429 very soon. Glad I stumbled upon this. Now I know it looks great for sure.
  24. Does anyone have a full list of AMT 2012 releases? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks.
