  1. Those are some beautiful black paint jobs. Thanks for all the advice and insight.
  2. The numerous responses to my inquiry are really appreciated.
  3. I'm about to airbrush my first black paint job. I understand that be it a 1:1 or 1:25 scale car that black is the most challenging color to shoot. Was wondering if any of the veterans out there had any helpful hints, tips or guidance that they would be willing to pass on before I attempt to lay down my first lacquer black paint job. I'll be using either MCM our Scale Finishes pre thinned black lacquer. What is the better primer undercoat gray or white? I truly want the final finish to pop.
  4. Can anyone recommend someone that will print some custom color decals for me. The artwork is already scaled to size just need someone to print them. At one time there were a number of individuals that did these types of assignments but they all have seemd to disappeared since the demise of Alps printers. I have several pending projects in the bull pen. If you wish you can P.M. me.
  5. Those shaved bumpers really do visually cleanup the body lines.
  6. I do believe his is. In fact, I received a sheet of decals from him around mid-April this year. Try this e-mail address: mofobow@hotmail.com or go to his site: http://www.plazastudios.net/Museum/Keith_Decal_Store.htm Hope this helps.

  15. To all the drag enthusiast I would love to see your "Drag Strip" window/bumper stickers. Particularly the vintage 60ties thru 70ties logos. Here are a few I`ve been able to stumble across. Strangely can't seem to find one for California`s famous "Orange County" dragstrip. p

  20. Wow..I had no idea that there were several kits with Continental tire accessories. Frantastic...are there any more?
  21. Thanks for the lead. Snake 45 if you have either of the aforementioned kits I`ll graciously except your genorious offer and gladly give those kitted continental parts a new home. :-) :-)
  22. Contemplating my first venture into "candy" paints. Is there a source of airbrush ready candy colors. The sources I`ve stumbled across sell in larger quantities (quarts/gallons) for 1:1 cars; is there a source that sells candy colors in smaller quantities like ounces. Also, any advice or how to tips concerning working with candy colors is welcome.
