  1. Hey for anyone wanting to scratch that sleeper I have 60" to scale on the outside I did on google sketchup. It has correctly radiused corners and cutout for the stack. Doors are close but may need to be checked dimension wise.
  2. Check out my Google Sketchup RD up in the Artwok section. As accurate as I couold get from pics and in sketchup to scale. Also has the trailmobile Tanker. So does anyone produce the tanker? Trailmobile 5800 gal 1960 model?
  3. Here is my finished version. Anyone got a link to the new model? In the dust.
  4. I remember Woolworths around the time they closed there doors in Bismarck. But, my Dad always complains of this. Especially for that one tri axle wrecker they want like 300 dollars for.
  5. Check it out. The Duck was spotted up here in the North Dakota Oil Patches in a 1998 Mack truck. Must not have hung up the mike.
  6. Hey wanna feature my Auto Art lol?
  7. Early 70s Brockway Tanker.
  8. Just farm them out to other builders lol. Don't feel bad I got the same problem with my art work. My Computer art is mostly all half started and I got 3/4 of my art work all half started because I get an idea and then it don't go the way I want or I lose interest and come back to it a few years later. Nice thing is is all I got is sketches though. I learned sketching to alleviate half drawn art. It drives my wife nuts. Finally got a filing cabinet to put most of it in. Filled 3 drawers first shot. Good luck on the builds. I got a few rebuilds that are almost done but still have baggies of parts beside them lol.
  9. Looks good, and good luck.
  10. http://images.search...&x=wrt&y=Search Click on the link. Seems to be a butt load of pics. I'll see if I can find specs. http://images.search...&x=wrt&y=Search http://www.allpar.co...amchargers.html Hope that helps. Yahoo always seeion.ms to have the best image select
  11. I had to show this brain spasm I had off. What if we needed to go back to steam (not a bad idea)? Would it be possible? :-? Called "Steamy Pete". It is a 1955 Pete body and frame with brass trim. The rear wheels are driven from the inside by a locomotive steam setup. The boiler and all that good stuff is under the hood and the brass plated stacks would be the Smoke stacks. (duh) : . The airhorns would some how act as the steam whistle and it has heavy duty cast iron wheels. The fuel tanks would be the water source and the driver's side tank back 1/4 would be for kerosene. The lights are all old brass style kerosene, converted to electrical. Pulling a 4-4-4 on a lowboy. I did this in about 2 hours. More pics can be found here: http://s275.photobuc...759/Art%20Work/
  12. You know the Continnental works so good for a goth themed car. Good sketch.
  13. Nice.
  14. Right. This was a whakked movie. Figured the lead was high the whole time.
  15. I like my old trucks too. I knew where there was a 53 F600 but not sure if it is still there up Montana way.
  16. Well, I got a thread down in the 1:1 trucks section to show what it is. I am looking around 1500-2000 not running (though shes an old diesel so I am sure with a little work she'll fire up) Its a 6v53 Detroit with an Allison 6 speed and 2 speed Eaton rear. I am partial to 2 and 3 too. Maybe 3 with the toppers from 1? Not sure if it's practical to run these type of ACs up here but I think they look cool as hell. And she will be a retired heavy hauler, so she won't see much use as a worker anymore. Plans once she is driveable is to find a 60s era 40 or 50 ton lowboy. Already found a winch for the back.
  17. There fixed.
  18. Those F800 pictured are 56 (first one) and 53-55 (second one).
  19. Sweeter then a 2 dollar bill! This rig would make a good "Covenant" truck.
  20. Yep that you did. Check out this link in the ART section I just finished in the last 3 hours. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55080
  21. OK so I am in negotiations for a 1965 REO Truck (1:1) and been messing with paint jobs and this is what I came up with. It is Kandy Tangerine and Jet Black: I started with this but it had a single rear axle: The Air Cleaners change from truck to truc. Which one looks better 1,2 or 3?
  22. Thats what I was looking for model wise. Searched up and down the net and still missed that one. Thanks.
  23. Sweet. is that the gateway arch in the back ground?
  24. Hey, any you guys got any B series Macks, Autocars or REOs from the late 50s early 60s with Orange paint jobs or orange and black? Pics please. Also is there a kit to convert an existing kit or a body for a 1958-66 REO or Daimond REO?
