  1. This is a quick sketch for the paint job on the truck I am in negotiations for. The paint would be Kandy Tangerine and Jet Black. Wheels would be Tangerine with polished lips.
  2. Used to have a pic but can't find it. Traditionally this is how it was done for Railroad trucks. On a side not I believe Sauer Kraut has a crew cab COE of this vintage.
  3. In style Or this But probably this 1950 Mack
  4. I talked to the guy. Owns a construction company. Not sure what the story is.
  5. Yeah not sure what the hell they did to them but I guess that is why they are here.
  6. OK so I may have been wrong. On another forum they said it may be a 6v53 Detroit.
  7. If ya'll want more I can get em later. Here are a few more of the REO and then a link to all the pics (detailed) I took. http://s275.photobucket.com/albums/jj291/ARTEMIS1759/1965%20REO/
  8. Got more pics or a thread of the bomber station?
  9. I'll keep that in mind. PM me a price. Don't have anything for trade.
  10. Sweet another model on my list so I can hack it into a two door so it has the extra length for a Kustom.
  11. Been throwing around a 48 Chev fleetline with a flatbed. But can't get the design right. Reason for the flat bed is because I saw one on a ranch that had this setup and have been trying to refine it to no avail. It pops in my mind about every couple years. Nice build.
  12. If that don't work try sticking the body in the freezer overnight and sometimes the glue will let go when you pull it out.
  13. Hey, I am a lover of 40s kustoms. Keep the flattie with ardun heads. nice fadeaways and body mods.
  14. Hey Tracy on your cab conversion, some of the crew cabs were built with the cabs back to back so the doors were flipped side to side in the back but the rear cab wall was retained. So the slant was towards the rear.
  15. Anyone know where I can get a resin 1965 REO or Daimond REO Cab and frontend. Didin't see any. I posted in 1:1 but I found a REO that I am seriously considering buying for the a resto. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=54824&pid=637612&st=0&#entry637612
  16. Working on downloading my 100 pics off my wifes phone in individual emails, since it won't sync with a usb or bluetooth. I got about 1/2 downloaded and it is driving me fricken nuts. Oh and no memory card slot.
  17. Got more pics but all it has is a COE KW and 3 COE freight shakers and a couple late 90s Freightskaker house movers. Sorry. This was the only real find. The building was built in the last 10 years but something tore it all to hell.
  18. Figures are good as long as they got the right pose or work with the rest.
  19. So I found this storage building that has seen better days in this small town of mine (about 1500) has a butt load of cabs and rigs in various states of junk and then I go around the back where half the wall is missing and here is a 1965 REO tandem axle HD truck. Complete but in dire need of resto.. I will post a teaser and more later. If anyone needs refernce pics of details I took about 100 photos. Any idea what model this is. Has the Detroit V8 and Auto with locking diffs and electric shift. What model are all these parts. Rears are eatons on a beam type air ride. The guy told me its for sale at the right price. Registration says 97 but I still have to download the pic of that for the model. So any idea what it might be worth probably non running? Surprised to see the seat is air ride too. OK its a DL-632D.
  20. Great build. I got one in parts that is Burgundy with lime green accents. (Hey it was the early 90s lol). Had to look because I also love this kit.
  21. I love the use of the use of the Paxton Supercharger. Sharp truck. What kit is this. I have an idea for a steam punk steam powered 50 ford painted Locomotive black or red with brass trim.
  22. Yeah I realized that after I said it. But I am gonna try to hack on up and see if I can get the shape.
