  4. is the dress casual?
  5. Mom wasn't a cop, liar, or thief. but i'll bet over the years the cop's family benefitted from his "bonuses".
  6. I don't think you should be mentioning any other magazines on this forum; I heard that it was not tasting good.
  7. Danno, Mom always said "if someone steals, they'll usually lie, too". you gonna believe a cop, or my Mom?
  8. I got one at Hobby Lobby for 60% off - Labor Day Special
  9. yes; husband / father is a loser. just because he got caught this once doesn't mean it's the first time maybe he's been on the take for his whole career? ever happened before? predators get caught for one incident, but I think the average is 87 victims over a lifetime. "Off with their heads!"
  10. up to the country/ canned heat extra credit: how's this related to Mel Taylor?
  11. animation, even the suggestion of movement, can be a great diorama tool. it works best on 'open house' night or in still photography. but what happens after the crowd leaves or the page is turned? maybe others had the classic Plasticville, USA model train villiage in the late 50s. remember the "running commuter"? he was a very Dan Draper-esque character with his Van Huesen hat and briefcase swinging from his arm. perched on his square plastic base, he looks like he might actually be able to catch the 7:05 barreling past the Union Station. but as soon as the train passes the station and heads towards the Big City just on the other side of Styrofoam Tunnel, you were left with a pale yellow plastic figure balancing on one foot in mid stride. looked a bit odd for the 99% of the time the train was not whizzing (in the correct direction!) past the station, didn't it? at six or seven, we would not have given this type of vignette a second thought. our energies were now directed to the automatic milk can loading car, or switchman emerging from his shack only to about face and go right back inside. so when the elephant blows his spray, what will divert our attention from all the wet?
  12. as long as everyone's happy
  13. " ... I was living to run and running to live ..."
  14. maybe "peripherals" is your hobby. just go with it and see where it takes you.
  15. he should have stolen from Hobby Lobby; could have gotten away with 40% more and they would have prayed for his sorry butt, too.
  16. amt '53 Studebaker & a bunch of styrene shapes. stocking up for New England winter.
  17. I can see how both methods could find their place depending on the situation.

  22. but in all seriousness - firearms instructor killed by 9 year old girl he was teaching to use an automatic weapon. who's more stupid: girl's parents or instructor? we don't want little buttercup to use an Exacto knife, but he can use a firearm ..... ? c'mon, people ...
  23. so no more '32 Fords, rat roasters, or woodys then?
  24. but ... but .... we've got 150 pages of "that bad man drives too slow in my lane...." and that's news. reminds me of the day I was having breakfast in the local coffee shop. the group behind me had gotten their check. six seniors, and they're frickin' arguing about who owed 15 cents more because somebody had the Sanka. I wanted to rip the check out of their hands and pay it myself just to shut them up. only reason I didn't was because I thought news would spread and their friends would surround me everytime I went there to eat!
