  1. Very nice, like all the mods that you done. An inspirational build for sure.
  2. Incredible build as always, great job replicating all the details and features that the 1:1 has. Look forward to watching the next build.
  3. Yep,im going to be raiding a few kits for parts.
  4. Looks excellent so far, like the pattern design. And going by some of your previous pattern paint jobs, im sure this will be another work of art when complete.
  5. Add me to the roster. These are the 2 kits ive chose, dont think I need to mention why these are bad kits as im sure everyone knows what they are like. First up is AMT's 53 Ford flip nose. After seeing what John Teresi done with this kit,It gave me some serious inspiration to have a go at trying to polish this turd of a kit Have had a plan for this particular kit ever since I bought it.Just never built up the courage to build it due to the quality and contents. Im hoping I can transform this poor quality kit to look somewhat similar to Tim Allens custom F100. My Inspiration pics. And Second in line for a transformation. Revell's 56 ford pick up. Havent made up my mind as to what direction/style this kit will go.Most probly be another full on custom but with a less radical engine than the above plan's for the AMT kit build
  6. Another current wip.
  7. Have picked out a couple kit's.Will post pics and details in the official thread/topic. 12 months is way too long for me to work on 1 build (generally I can complete a build within 1 to 2 months). So if its ok Rob, id like to build 2
  8. Count me in.
  9. Maybe check ebay.com.au, we use 240V. Although converting to our $ might be factor though.
  10. This is my current wip.Hoping to finish it before the year ends.
  11. Very interesting, liking the direction you are going with this build Ira.
  12. I do feel for the people who lost a loved one at this tragic situation. I agree with Andrew, these things happen in all countrys. Just so happens that yesterday,in my town there was a drive by shooting
  13. Thanks for the comments and interest fella's. Its been put on the back burner for awhile, got burnt out doing the prep work. But il get back to it soon.

  15. My bad, how could I have missed this. Another cleanly built and well detailed Impala from you mate. Look forward to your next Impala build
  16. Personally I dont like the look of the current model Holden ute either. Sorry to stray away from the op mentioning the El-Camino ute But while we are on the topic of utes I much prefer the styling of Ford Australia's 2012 FPV GS ute.
  17. Woooowhoooo! Finally got one of this kit.
  18. And final pics.
  19. Thanks for all the comments. Few more pics.
  20. Had another D.O.H kit in my stash and decided to do another quick curbside build for fun. The body. H.O.K black Stripes are H.O.K euro red, which were over-coated with intercoat clear with some pearl ex #654 mixed in. Clear coat H.O.K UC-35 Interior. TS-49 bright red, over-coated with Alclad klear koat flat ACL-314. Wheels. Pegasus Hela's 19/23 combo. The name on the number plates is Dr Cranky's idea. Thanks for helping and coming up with the name Doc.
  21. My major highlight for the year was receiving my very first award for one of my builds from an online build-off/contest.
  22. Wow ! incredible craftsmanship. That jig alone is a serious piece of scale engineering
  23. Good to see pics again of the scratch built components for the 80 Camaro. Very impressive scratch building skills you have for sure. You really need to get back to that build and finish it up mate.
  24. Good work on the suspension modifications so far.
