  1. Another Amt kit converted to a curbside Lowrider. Not much to explain about it as its built exactly the same style as the 72 Nova I posted recently.

  4. Thanks again for additional comments much appreciated No overcoat, just used XF-57 buff paint Andy
  5. Thanks for the additional comments. Its all good Jesse I kinda thought when you stated Form>Function it might have had something to do with the ride height, but i thought id ask what you meant first to make sure. Lets just imagine it has airbags
  6. Yep that be the one
  7. Nice clean build as always Cliffo,I like what you did with the rims. The green is a cool and different, but me being me I like the black one you built a year or 2 ago that little bit more than this one
  8. Thanks Stuart, Jim and Jon Jesse what do you mean by Form>Function ??
  9. And a few more final pics
  10. Some more pics.
  11. Thanks Rodney Thanks Antonio, some of your ricer builds provided inspiration for this build. Thanks Terry, certainly would be ok to own a 1:1 version for sure.
  12. Thankyou Mark, means alot to get a comment from such an accomplished builder. Sorry Andrew no pics of the underside,it has no detail, metal rod for axle's and is just painted flat black.
  13. Fujimi kit, built my way. Once again body is painted with Tamiya TS-14 black (my favourite) Interior is painted XF-57 buff Done away with back seat and parcel shelf and filled the void with styrene which allowed for fittment of some Aoshima subs, speakers and amps. Steering wheel is from a Aoshima Hilux kit . Rims are Aoshima Luxy type-4 19inch (wheel set also had the audio parts included) Lowered Cut out the molded in detail of the front grille and replaced with KA models photo etched 0.5x0.7 quadrangle mesh. Also opened up the bonnet/hood vents and installed some more KA mesh 0.3x0.3 square . Aluminium tube exhaust tip. Just a few pics for now, will post some more when the number plates are done. Interior before it was installed
  14. Wow ! Thankyou very much for all the comments,I didnt think this build would appeal to many people. But I guess I was wrong, its great too see so many of you comment and like it.

  18. Something different Amt kit converted to a curbside lowrider. Paint: Body, dash and parcel shelf: Tamiya TS-14 black, straight from the can finish, no polishing. Interior tub and seats, Tamiya TS-8 italian red, top coated with TS-80 flat clear. Interior details: Subs and amps from Jada diecast. Custom made chain steering wheel, Seats are from my spare parts box. Wheels: Pegasus 1109 Dz's with blacked out spokes.
  19. Just finished another Hilux kit today its very simiular to the one previously built.I even named it the same.
  20. Thanks Joe, Im unsure where you might find the hilux kit pictured above as some of Aoshima's hilux kits are getting hard to find now.
  21. Ha Ha, very funny Zac. Atleast il finish some of my builds
  22. Thats looks good,I like the concept of a 2 door/coupe. Just a suggestion and hope you dont mind,I saved and did a quick rough edit/chop to one of your pics. The back end seems a bit long and IMO it would look much better if a vertical section was removed to reduce the length, shown below.
  23. Thanks for the comments. Couple more outdoor pics
