  1. Here’s my Round 2 reissued International 4070A
  2. This is the Round 2 reissued International Transtar 4070A kit. This was a very nice and fun kit to build. All the parts fit like there supposed to and very little to none flash to remove from the parts. The orange paint is Tamiya orange and white. This one is box stock. As always your comments are welcome and appreciated.
  3. I’m on a roll now with my Super Bee Trucking fleet so I’m going to add the International F- 2674 dump truck but I’m going to switch the Heil dump body with the Autocar Montone dump body. My Montone dump body is from a older issue of the kit and when I was opening the sealed bags I discovered that the front piece that goes over the cab was not completely molded so I’m going to have to fix that part at least it’s just flat piece. I may modify it a little bit to allow for the stack to go straight up. Started with white primer on the cab.
  4. Thanks Carl, I’m using Scale Finishes 500 clear. It might be the hot humid weather here in Houston I have to spray in my garage. I was able to spray another coat on yesterday morning before it got into the 90’s and it came out ok for me. I may have this in under glass later today or early tomorrow morning.
  5. Thanks Brian other than looking for a new opportunity I’ve got Lots of free time to build. I’ve done everything I can on this one until the clear coat dries. As you can see from the pictures I’ve test fit the remaining parts and all looks good. So I’m pulling together my next build and I’m going to add another dump truck to my fleet. I’m going to use the International F-2674 dump truck kit but I’m switching out the Heil dump body with the Autocar Montone dump body. You can guess what the colors are.
  6. Thanks Jeff. JT knows I’m building this one orange I sent him a text with some pictures of it.
  7. I finished the interior today. I went with tan and dark tan on the sides and brown leather on the seats. Also a couple more details on the frame and finished the stacks.
  8. Thanks Tommy. It’s a nice fun kit to build. Thanks Lee I’m just a few days away from finishing this one. My clear coat on it is not working for me
  9. Thanks Tommy. It’s a nice fun kit to build. Thanks Lee I’m just a few days away from finishing this one. My clear coat on it is not working for me it keep wrinkling on me.
  10. Thanks Brian, this is a really fun kit to build I’ve had absolutely no problems so far other than the decals sheet missing when I got it but Round 2 corrected that with just one friendly call.
  11. Thanks Warren it also helped by having one in my stash waiting to be utilized.
  12. Tommy your interior looks great.
  13. I did more work on the frame today and placed the stripes on the cab.
  14. Thanks Carl. I appreciate your following and support in my model building.
  15. Thanks Jeff it just about dose and so far all the parts are clean of any flash and clean up easy after clipping them off the tree. I’ve made progress on the engine, frame and wheels. I’m still deciding on colors for the interior and fuel tanks.
  16. Thanks CI, your absolutely correct it’s going very smoothly for me so far. Its definitely not a old AMT kit. Lol.
  17. Pat it’s a old 62 Dodge Dart JoHan kit. They also made the 62 Plymouth Fury.
  18. X2. Looking forward to seeing you finish building this Pat.
  19. I’m going with a box stock build on this one using paint scheme G with Tamiya TS-12 Orange and white. The frame and wheels are going to be orange too. Started on painting the cab first. I’m going with the large white decal stripes also.
  20. Looking good I like your after market items (bumper and stacks). I’ve started on mine today.
  21. Thanks Carl I’m now starting my next truck.
