  1. Excellent build great looking Mack.
  2. Great looking IH. Your colors and paint scheme make it look sharp.
  3. I’m at 6 months building my Dan Gurney AAR Cuda race car hauler. The project grew as I went along with it. At first it was just going to be the truck and trailer with Dan Gurneys Cuda. But I realized that I could also build Swede Savages Cuda so I added his car to the project. I used AITM Dodge LS1000 resin cab with AMTs Frightliner for the donor. The trailer is the AMT race car transporter that is modified to carry both cars with a working lift ramp on the back. My project ended up turning into my first diorama. Your comments are welcome and appreciated.
  4. Thanks Lee, check out my Dan Gurney diorama in under glass.
  5. Most of the reference pictures I saw for building the truck and trailer were at different race tracks. I started my project with just building the truck and one car but I was able to get the decals for the second car for Swede Savage so I decided to go with both cars. I have not done a diorama before but I wanted to sometime and as I progressed with my project kept painting accessories that I had in my parts boxes and decided this would be my first diorama. I have a WIP for the building of the truck and trailer and also a WIP for both cars. I’ve had a lot of fun building this. Your comments are welcome and appreciated.
  6. For now I’m going to say it’s finished.

  9. I finally was able to finish the letters on the trailer and have some out side pictures. I’m getting ready to call my BRBO finished. Should be in under glass later today or tomorrow. Thanks again everyone for your support and comments on my project.
  10. Little more progress on the sub assemblies and finished the engine. I’ve also got the body ready for more paint when it arrives.
  11. Wow there’s a lot more detailing with the larger scale building. Looking forward to seeing you finish this one Ron.
  12. I used up all my Petty blue paint and after a little wet sanding I was able to burn through it so l’ve got more paint on order so I’ve finished my wet sanding and build as much as I can while I’m waiting for the paint to arrive.

  16. Thanks Bill , I get my Dodge LS1000’s cabs from AITM https://aitruckmodels.com/product/dodge-ls-1000/ over the years I’ve built 5 of them 1 day cab and 4 sleepers. I prefer the Frightliner COE as my donor for the frame and engine.
  17. I’m building Richard Petty’s race car truck and trailer with the 73 Charger. I have a WIP for the truck and trailer so far and now I’m starting on the Charger. Here’s the link to my truck and trailer build. This is my first NASCAR build and first Salvinos JR kit. I’ve started painting all the parts based on what the instructions show. So here’s what I have done so far
  18. Excellent build Gareth! Looking forward to seeing your under glass pictures.
  19. Thanks JT you are going to have to come by again and check it out in person. Thanks Hakan Thanks Jason Thanks David Thanks Gareth it’s going to be just a little bit longer to get it in under glass. I’m going to wait until I have the Charger done. Thanks again Carl Thanks Jeff I had to come up with a engine that Dodge used and I saw here on the MCM forms that this truck has the Detroit 6-71 and I was able too get Gary Wallis to send me one of his. Well I’ve been continuing on with my build with placing the STP decals on started on the Charger. This is my first NASCAR build.
