Thanks Jason, and here’s some more progress. I finished my engineering and scratch built the stairs and hitch. I’m going to start on the cab next looking like I’m going to be able to do some spraying this week with our weather. I’m also working on how I’m going to build the trailer. The springs and axles are what I need to figure out how to do with what I have in my parts boxes.

Some more progress on the lower boxes and have the rear doors on now. Next will be to engineer the rear steps/ trailer hitch and build it. I don’t have any pictures so I’m going to do what I think they had.

This is what happens when you ask for color recommendations but it’s just between blue and black. What about going with a white frame?

I was thinking blue but black also works.

Thanks guys I had a lot of fun building this one and it went together pretty quickly to. I did a WIP on it to. Here’s a picture of the interior that’s hard to see now.

Garett with your painting skills if I were you I would go with the paint in the picture of the one with the double trailers.

Nice start, I’ll be following your build. Have you selected any colors yet?

Some progress on the truck I’ve painted the frame and received my Scenes Unlimited tires for the truck. I found some fuel tanks in my parts box. I’ve also painted the deck and put the rear doors together. Next will be to build the boxes on the lower sides. I’ve picked out that at the rear of the truck there’s a mud flap and the trailer hitch frame is also stairs to get into the back of the truck. I can see in the one picture that they had 2 of these tracks one with a all blue cab and one with white around the lights. I’m going with the white around the lights.

Thanks Jeff, but check out the trailer in the pictures that Hakan posted for me looks like they used whatever they could find to build it. Thanks Hakan for sharing your pictures. I’ve seen some of them but I don’t have them saved so thanks they will save me time having to go and find them again.
