  3. Looking good John maybe Monday for painting.
  4. Clear coat and tinted the windows.
  5. Little more progress today. Finished the interior with all 5 seat belts and was able to paint the body.
  6. Thanks Hakan Thanks Jason Thanks Brian I’m still waiting for the rest of the letters on the trailer and Minilite wheels for #42
  7. Thanks Michael, The blue stripes on the seats were only on the Spring Special edition and for 2009 they only made 186 of them. The production run was cut short because of the bank rup CHRYSLER when though that year. They finished the production run when they started back up but they were 2010’s. Front seat belts in place now.
  8. I’ve made some progress on the interior still have to do the seat belts. Here’s the test fitting to see how it’s going to look.
  9. Very interesting build John and I’m sure your son appreciates all your work on his Jeep. Your scratch building looks awesome. I’ve also have the same problem with painting this week on my Challenger build.
  10. Excellent build very real looking.
  11. I’ve been working on the chassis and wheels plus starting on the Hemi. The body is ready for paint but I’m having to wait until the rains here stop but that maybe next Monday.
  12. Thanks Chaz. Actually after about a 30 plus years I started building again by being able to build the current 1:1 I had at the time. It was the Dodge Magnum SRT 8 Carl I’ve used a black marker on other windows before and I’m thinking about using it on this one to. I’m going to tint the back windows like I did on my RAM Power Wagon using 1:1 auto tint. Thanks Anton.
  13. Awesome progress Ron. Looking forward to seeing more of your progress.
  14. In July I will have owned my 1:1 Challenger for 12 years and I’ve built 2 copies of it but not with the correct paint color. A few years ago I was able to pick up some PE parts for it and have been waiting for the right time to build it and be able to make it my best build yet. My Challenger has a sun roof so I will be adding one to the Revell 2009 Challenger kit from the Revell Magnum kit. My research on this build is really easy I just have to go to the garage and check. Today I’ve been removing the mold lines in the front and rear fenders on both sides of the car. Also painted my rims. Next will be to cut the opening for the sun roof. Here’s where I’m at for now.
  15. Thanks Jeff. Can you imagine dropping a small part in the grass. I’ve been having some fun with the Fujimi Garage and Tools kit
  16. Richard thanks for sharing your knowledge I should of done more research on my roll bars before I started. I did end up using 0.08 rod on the #48 Cuda roll cage. My project has evolved into my first diorama build that is in the WIP Diorama section. If you have any recommendations on my diorama I’m open to making it as realistic as possible.
  17. Thanks Roger I’m having fun with this.
  18. Hakan no problem I appreciate your comments
  19. David awesome details and amazing how you have been able to evolve your diorama over time. Looking forward to seeing what you do next.
  20. Thanks Hakan I sometimes have problems with my colors and I should of gotten some help when I was picking out the paint colors for the truck.
