There’s a plant under construction in south Texas that is going to be receiving modules that are the size of a football field and 6 stories tall. They are coming from China and will be using self propelled transporters to bring them to the site from the dock.

  13. Scott looks like you had a very busy weekend building. Your lowboy looks really nice and long. The International is coming along nicely I like the color.
  14. I’m having to wait for my rigging parts to arrive and have just received this resin Club Cab so I’m going to build this one next. I’m going to go with a white bottom with Red on the top section. I’m debating on whether to go with a white top or not. I’ve cleaned up the body and have some primer on it. I’m going to go with a factory stock that has the chrome slotted wheels. I’m also thinking of a white interior but if I go with the white top then I would go with a red interior. Here’s where I’m at now.
  15. This is very interesting information so have you decided on what you’re going to go with yet?
  16. Brian nice progress on your IH.
  17. JT your chrome diamond plate looks 100% better now and will make the black boom really stand out. What did you use for the chrome paint?
  18. Finished transporter #4 now to wait for the rigging (Shackles) to arrive. I’m going to try painting some thread silver to see how it will look for the cables. Here’s the finished pictures with rear two transporters hooked together.
  19. Thanks Gerry! This is really helpful and will allow me some time to go over them while I’m waiting for the kit to arrive.
  20. Gerry thanks for sharing your very detailed pictures of this kit. How are the directions for assembling it?
  21. Thanks Brian I appreciate your comments. Thanks Jeff over the years I’ve worked on many of these types of vessels and have seen them arrive and be set on foundations. Thanks Tom, yea it’s long just think how much longer it would be if I used the Lonestar. Some updates on transporter #4. Getting closer now and I’m now waiting on some rigging to arrive so I can secure everything down.
