  1. Your bike will go good in the back of your truck. Nice work on the bike.
  2. Wow I thought I was looking at the real bus looking at the first picture. Very interesting and very detailed kit.
  3. Thanks Dan, Jeff there’s a lot of details but then there’s some that’s missing or as Dan pointed out about the bucket seats. But overall it’s a great kit and worth the price. Continued working on the interior and started painting the body. Next will be to spray on the white.
  4. Dave thanks for posting your work in progress it’s awesome being able to see how you go about building your rig. It looks like the length of your work bench set your wheel base. Looking forward to seeing more progress on it.
  5. Charles your details on this build are incredible and every time I check it you have done even more. It’s awesome how you are able to build a true 1/25 scale of the real fire truck basically from scratch. I’m looking forward to seeing you finish this project it’s going to be a excellent replication of the real one.
  6. Dan the kit includes the seat belts and PE clips but no female connectors in the seat l’m going to make some. I’ve painted the wheels my picture makes some of the spokes look silver but it’s the camera they are all black.
  7. Awesome work on your Jeepster.
  8. I’m now working on the interior started with some paint and a mock up.
  9. I was wondering if any one was going to catch that.
  10. Thanks Dave. Some progress on the exhaust and have the engine in place now.
  11. Thanks Dominik and Ismo, over our Thanksgiving holiday I delivered the VW bus to my girlfriend’s daughter with out having to fix or re-glue any parts back on. I had it packed in a display box in my carry on bag on the plane. ?. She loved it!
  12. The springs are very flexible and gave me a lot of trouble attaching all the other suspension parts what I should of done was to use the solid springs in the regular kit to keep the axle in place while installing all the suspension parts and then change out the springs. Thats what I’ve done with the front axle and it helped a lot. The shocks are the only parts that will keep the axles level.
  13. I’m back on the bench again after the holiday break. Started on the front suspension.
  14. We differently need a model show looking like April for Modelmeana from the last update I’ve seen. Have you checked out my Heavy Haul project?
  15. Another excellent build Dave! Your details show that you have owned this type of truck. So you cast your own cement blocks? They look very real.
  16. Dave awesome builds I have the same two DG trucks and I used a Autocar for the bucket truck with the old Center Point colors. I still have the pole truck to change out but not sure what I’m going to use to change it out with yet.
  17. JT you have a lot of us here just waiting for you to start this awesome project that you can do. Let me know if there’s anything I can help you with.
  18. Count me in for 2021. I’ve already a project set to start the first of the year.
  19. Looking forward to seeing you finish your build.
  20. Thanks Brian, the rear suspension was very tricky with the springs being flexible and with this level of detail everything has to be in the right place for the axle to be level and square. I’m going to work on the front axle next.
  21. Brian you have another awesome build going on here.
  22. Nice progress Tom. Looking forward to seeing your next update.
  23. Ron nice start on your build. Can you post some pictures of your 1:1 sounds like a really nice truck to cruise around in.
