  1. Thanks Jeff the winch is part of the kit I just added the cable and red tag. I was not satisfied with the Molotow chrome so I BMF over it. I’m satisfied with it now.
  2. Jeff, I would think about it more if the TRX would fit in my garage lol. Here’s my mock up of the front head lights with the grill and bumper.
  3. Thanks Jeff. I would like to get one of those new TRX but it will not fit in my garage. Lol. Francis sometime ago someone posted this technique on MCM and I’ve used it a couple times I have also used it for head liners. You just have to check the texture of the paper to get what you need. I’ve been working on head light and tail light lenses still have some more work on the head lights. I’m going to be adding some BMF behind the lenses and RAM has not made this very easy to copy.
  4. Steve this is the A&N Power W 2500 resin kit with the engine and suspension kits. It’s a little pricey and takes a couple weeks for shipping to the US or Canada but it’s a very detailed kit and worth it. They are going to come out with the RAM TRX. I have a WIP posting on my build in the pickup truck section. https://an-modeltrucks.com/envira/33172/.
  5. Marty I think you have stock in Scale Finishes paint. Lol. I use there paint and very please with the results I even use there clear coat.
  6. Looking good Marty. The black trim is a lot harder than it looks I ended up spending a lot of time on mine.
  7. Francis I used a “Bounty” paper towel spray painted flat black. Then I just cut it out to fit. I based the shape on what Dodge has on my Challenger.
  8. Pat your booms look good all your scratch building parts on this are coming together nicely.
  9. The weather warmed up nice to allow me to respray. I also made a under the hood heat pad and finished the fog lights.
  10. Looking great Marty glad to see you back working on this one.
  11. Jacobus you should write down all the Mack kits on paper you have and then put them each in a jar and then have someone pull one out for you to build.
  12. Great news Carl. Thanks for requesting and letting me know there response.
  13. Francis with using the soapy water the tint film goes on like decals.
  14. Here’s my collection of pickups. 65 Dodge CSS HPP 73 Dodge club cab 78 Dodge plain Jane with a slant 6. Currently working 2020 RAM Power Wagon
  15. Thanks Dan that’s the look I was going for. Francis with my test samples I found out that with out using the soapy water there were lots of air bubbles so I used the soapy water to apply. I used over sized tint when I applied the tint to the windows and trimmed it off after they dried.
  16. While I’m waiting on the weather to allow me to repaint I’ve trimmed the windows and have tinted them with the auto trim. Here’s how they turned out.
  17. Carl sorry to hear about your accident hope everything heals quickly for you. Glad to see that you have all your parts now.
  18. Thanks JT , I’m hoping to repaint this week.
  19. Doug you are doing some great scratch building on your dump trailer and your doing a good job with your first WIP
  20. I’m going to have to spray the white a second time found to many places that I was not satisfied with so I’ve been sanding it for the next coat. Finished the front bumper and winch hook set up. Added the red tag to the hook I’ve seen it in the pictures. Test fitting the rear fenders and wheels so far it’s looking like it’s lining up right.
  21. Stephen it’s amazing how you are able to take these simple kits and make them very detailed and realistic. Awesome work and thanks for sharing your steps in how you are able to scratch build the parts you need.
  22. I like your colors they look good on the Jeepster.
  23. Jeff your doing an awesome job with your scratch building you don’t need any squirrels or Santa Elf’s.
