  1. Love it! Well done. Maybe a second shelf is on the drawing board.
  2. I never thought I'd see you use the word "kit"! You must feel like you're in a straightjacket! Looks good though.
  3. Nice touch on the handwritten signage, you used to see older trucks and vans lettered up like because people couldn't afford a proper sign writer.
  4. Looks rugged and well used. Well done.
  5. I feel your pain on the grille situation, very frustrating. Good fix though. Truck looks great as a whole, a real head turner.
  6. It does look a good print
  7. Looks great, the yellow is just right. Not too harshly bright.
  8. I've never felt so needed! Great job, as always.
  9. When do you sleep Jürgen? I can't comprehend the speed of this build! Great job on the paint scheme, makes a change from trying to get everything perfectly sharp and straight. I don't think this will be the last Convoy build, I'll bet there's another lurking in the back of your mind.
  10. I know what you mean, see quite a few in Liverpool at the docks with the reefer unit all contained within the frame at the front. I like your profile icon mate, I've read the brochure that comes from quite a few times. I love the wording of the old brochures.
  11. These are both beautiful clean builds. Well done! What a way to land on the site! You say you don't think you'll be able to catch up, you don't need to, you're doing great work, look forward to seeing more of your work.
  12. Great save, well done. Going to look great as a whole, being able to see the radiator behind, proper depth, like the real thing.
  13. I hate remaking a handmade part because I dropped the original and couldn't find it. Then, once the replacement is complete, finding the original one in my sock or somewhere!!!! I can't get a dog because I'd be kicking it all the time.
  14. I was trawling the interwebs for inspiration the other night and came across a batch of long frames... I find these fascinating, they're something that could only exist in America, a real unique configuration. This is a setup I've never seen before, the reefer fuel tank is on the trailer bulkhead. They did have conventionals too but the seem really rare. I like the spare wheel mounted upright on the chassis. This K100 has one too. This sums it up really doesn't it? The truck is much longer than the trailer! So this is perfectly credible. I apologise for my digression.
  15. Sorry to hear it took a hit. Must have been sickening for you. It looks fine now. I'm sure it will look great when it's finished.
  16. In the song by C.W.McCall he calls it a chartreuse microbus. So there's your main colour.
  17. The clock went back last night and I'mu all out of sorts today and we're being battered by another Atlantic low but I still did a bit at the bench. Built a pogo stick and a catwalk. Looks ok. Thought I'd take a few shots of it with a nice reefer to check if the stance is right.
  18. The KW torsion bar was a clever design. Not many left.
  19. I'm in awe at the quality of the work you do. There's so much skill and artistry demonstrated on this website. Fantastic stuff.
  20. Just so impressive. Beautiful work. The only part I don't understand is "bench cleaned", it's not something I've come across so far in my modelling history. 😜
  21. It's so complete it's painful to look at 😵‍💫
  22. I'm sorry to hear that you have been in hospital. Hopefully you get your mobility back fully and can get back to building. Sounds like they caught this one early so should have a good result.
  23. This is going to be good to watch. Quite a close match to the film unit, certainly in the cowl but looks like a different manufacturer for the body. Will be a challenge on the exterior decoration for you. Wheels and tyres look great. Are you using a different printer? The parts appear very smooth.
