awe, come on Mike, your making me feel bad...
  2. I gotta admit Steve, except for the center cap, the upper right one is dead on. I figure this wheel is at least 35 maybe 40 years old. So it's a good possibility that's exactly what it is. Found it in a parts box inside another box that I've had since I was a young punk kid.....
  3. ...lol....I know, I need to take more time out to post...my mind is like a BB in a box car lately...bouncing all over the place!

  5. Bryan, that looks fantastic my friend, great work on the paint job! Looking forward to seeing it finished......
  6. Thanks Len, after a little more research it looks like the Monogram Shelby GT350. Thanks Casey and Monty for the kudo's, being included with you and Crazyjim is a huge compliment!
  7. ..thanks guys, I appreciate the info. Found this in a long forgotten parts box. There was only one so I de-chromed it and made a copy. Thought it would make a nice addition to my product line but wasn't sure what wheel it was and only found two pics that came close. The Cragar Eliminator and the Shelby 500. ..again, thanks for the info fella's!
  8. Hi guys....need a little help, not sure what this wheel is. Looks like a Cragar 500 Eliminator or maybe a Shelby 500 wheel. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks guys..

Hi David, the foam board I used is arts and craft board with the paper backing removed. I got it a Hobby Lobby, but I know there are other stores that sell similar brands. There are builders who have used the insulation board with great success but I couldn't find any locally that was under 1 inch thick. When you start your project be sure to post plenty of pics!
  16. Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the kind words and compliments. This aspect of the hobby has become very enjoyable for me. It's fun to make some of those detail parts that are not very common. Steve did a real nice job on the trans, I just added a few extras. Like you Steve I've been looking into tail shaft housings to go with the trany. Would like to offer it with both the 2WD and 4WD. That way a modeler would have a complete setup. Once I get some of these other projects finished I plan on starting them.
  17. Happy Birthday George! cheers to many, many more!!!
  18. Fantastic Ron! ...seeing your dio at this stage makes we want to get after mine. Love all the detail work you put into this. The pic with the lights on is one of my favorites.....great job my friend.....
  19. WOW, that is just too cool, beautiful work on this Rick!
  20. ...truly a work of art Ken. Never get tired of looking at this! Looking forward to seeing it in person in April.
  21. Jeff the walls and windows I made. The walls are foam board and like ED said the windows are clear Acetate and styrene strips....
  22. ..thanks Tony, enjoy being here. The only thing l did after the accident was to fix the wall separation and the overhead piping. I really need to get back into this!
  23. here's a couple more
  24. Hey Jeff, here's a few pics of a dio l started with the same idea you have in mind........
