This is another instance where the benefit of an airbrush comes in. Ever since I started shooting metallics and most any paint, really,I have been adding clear to the color somewhere in the painting process.
The trouble I have with this is do you count only regular production,or just the rarest of them all. Some "kits" were very limited and basically just promotional items for a company or cause. That 1911 Chevy comes to mind.
Well I have been PROfoundly intrigued by this thread.Last nite I had a meal of burritos and saurkraut, and now I am calling my PROctologist to see if he can give me a PROgnosis of what's up my ***.
Why not? a model won GSL best of show years ago without being painted. The plastic was polished and a lot of people were shocked and awed.(what emoticon displays shock and awe?)
"It doesn't. no where does it say that you cannot bid for someone else and ship it to them. I do it all the time, it's called Christmas shopping." :D
GOOD ONE :D

This is a very good company, and the owner posts here often.
I bought one of those tri-level rolling tool boxes from Harbor freight when I moved to a Mobile Home (see Cletus I TOLD you he was trailer trash) here in AZ. Just don't have the room I had in Illinois.
Dannos's right about Greg Wann . the quality of his resin casting has to be seen, but his clear casting is incredible. He could be casting 24/7 in clear just to replace all the busted up clear shots in Monogram 1/8th scale kits.
After seeing what a couple of Jo-Han 1963 Dodges went for on ebay, how about one of those?
Also I like some of the weider ones like a Stout Scrarab?(sp) or the McQuay-norris speedster with trrailer.
