For something like this I'm not sure either. Which Hawaiian is this? Fueler or Funny car? I'd check Google images, but at any rate,it should be someplace where the stress would not be a problem. -
Is this the same basic kit as the one that had the record in it,but a later re-issue? Very nice save on an old built-up.

John, Thank you for your kind thoughts on my dog AXLE. He was actually 11 y.o.,but I rescued him at age 3.He was a fantastic dog and I think I will have a German Shepherd 'till I die. I have another A/C unit that I use with other airbrushes, especially the Paasche VL as they seem to really use a high volume of air. I don't think I want to mess with it as it works very well with the two Iwatas I have -
air compressor operation - confused

My recently acquired iwata whisper jet runs up to 40 psi and turns off. When i depress the airbrush button it turns on and runs until I release the button and it returns to 40psi. I can regulate the pressure to say 20psi by opening a bleed off knob and then it will run constantly as its calling for air. -

I have that kit in the pile. Good to see how you did the details. And as usual,a flawless execution.

If it's blue It's not super clean. Sounds like you bought Bleeche-white.

I don't understand the "pre-bent" part of this.If the wire is kinked off the roll, just pull it around the handle of your hobby knife. I guess a Pic would help. -
Panel scribers.
Mike Kucaba replied to modelercarl's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Try a putting a cut-off straight pin in a pin vise and start the line with that. Using light pressure is also a good tip,and so is the label tape(think old style dymo labeler). For curves, the circle template is good too.The edges of credit cards have some nice rounded edges and you can cut them up to get in odd places. -
Yep! Me too. started one years ago to replicate my brothers '84. Got it ready for paint and he never would send the TU bottle of paint for it after it was repainted. Mine sits in the storage unit since I moved here, and his sits in his driveway up on jack stands.

How was this applied? If you spray canned Testor's enamel you'll have to wait a long time for the paint to cure before you can sand and recoat. If Tamiya or Testors lacquer, you can sand in a few days and recoat. Remember to warm the paint before spraying and get a little closer to avoid orange peel.
