Super Girl ! I don't know what it is about Calicos and Torties ; they're not breed-specific , but they're all great hunters . I wonder why mum abandoned them ? Perhaps she was too young ?

Such wonderful felines ! @stinkybritches , I love the feline family , esp. the lineage !

WHOA ! Those are some gorgeous Dilute Calico sisters ! Nikko's "jellybeans" ( paw pads ) look amazing ! I had a Calico as well --- her name IS (emphasised on purpose ) Molly Anne . I'd adopted her in late 2002 (she was six months old) , and she was my companion until 11th August 2019 when The Lord called her home .

That's the one ! I did some research ; found that the conversion company was Centurion ---- but I didn't find any police-spec models . -

Second Gen Ford Bronco Design History
1972coronet replied to Casey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I remember seeing a fleet of 4 door Broncos on the back lot of a Ford dealership in Downey , California , in 1988 . Perhaps there was a fleet-only 4 door option ? They all had Los Angeles Sheriff's Office schemes ; likely for use in the mountains and deserts of northern L.A. County . If only I had a camera ! Other than my memory , I have zero evidence of their existence . -
Second Gen Ford Bronco Design History

Thanks for the link , @Casey! Very cool article , and full of photos ! I'd long wondered as to why Ford kept the original Bronco after , say , 1972 . That's not a swipe at the original , unique Bronco ; just an observation . -
Looks good , Steve ! Glad to recognise that you're back at this project . You should paint your fingernails with a 2 mm Molotow .

Revell 1/25 65 Mustang fastback
1972coronet replied to RichCostello's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Additionally ; the original was moulded in red , and was released in 1986 or early 1987 ( that's when I bought my copy ) . It went-together quite well , from what I remember . Last time that I built any of those '65-'66 Mustang kit was in 1988 --- the G.T. 350-H kit ( black & gold ) . -

I would imagine that it's the same ,Monogram-origins , c.1984 ad seq. kit that's been around in various liveries since , well , 1984 . Definitely 1/24 scale . -
An all-new 1970-1972 Chevelle would be GREAT . Each year could be represented via front clips and rear bumpers / tail lamps ; air cleaner decals are year-to-year unique , too . I'd love to be able to build a phantom 1971 LS-6 Chevelle ! 1963-1965 Dart ( no love for the '66 ? ) in those body styles would be awesome , too . Include both the Slant and the 273 ; 904 ( yes , the Slant's auto would be different as its starter location is unique ) and 833 four speed ; 8 3/4 diff , and ; period-correct performance goodies .

Very , very cool RH21M4 ! The two barrel engines are seldom represented in-scale , especially the 400 two barrel . RE : The chassis plate with single exhaust : Are you going to grind-off the catalytic converter ?

Round 2 purchased by an investment firm

It is from my life-long Blue Collar experiences that my cynicism is bourn . I've found that typically the opposite is true ( e.g. , "no staff changes" , "headquarters not moving" , "business as usual" are patronising platitudes employed to quell management and staff ) . I hope that my (practical application-based) cynicism is unfounded... " Living in a jungle it ain't so hard Living in the city it will eat out , eat out your heart . " -
Blue Magic Paint Remover
1972coronet replied to Grumpa's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I remember seeing Blue Magic some 18 years ago , which coincided with my discovery that Super Clean , et al. , were more cost-effective (and served more than one purpose) . For those whom aren't aware of Blue Magic : it was in a ~medium-sized clear bottle ; it was marketed in hobby stores ( I used to see it at Burbank's House Of Hobbies ) as a polystyrene-safe paint stripper . I'm almost certain that the advent of Super Clean , et al. , brought upon the demise of Blue Magic (pure speculation on my part) . -
-The upholstery pattern is unique-to-1970 -There's a 'Valiant' emblem on the fenders -'340' decals are unique - There's a 'V-EIGHT' emblem on the front fenders on 318 & 340 models - Carburetor for 1970 is the Carter AVS I love the idea of adding the 225 from the '64 Dodge / Plymouth kits . A "1971" Valiant Sedan ( in quotations because there were three different cars used in that movie ) would be awesome !

Quite so --- reminds me of the S-4 as well (one of my favourite cars) . The misnamed "six cylinder engine" is supposed to represent a Chrysler LA-Series V8 ; however , it's undersized , appearing more like the 3.9 litre V6 of 1987 - ? At least the engine has a Torqueflite attached to it instead of the manual of years-prior . It also has a correct air cleaner (however lacking the Electronic Lean Burn computerised engine management box...) which also works for the A-Body kits . Looks GREAT , Gareth !

Other than the 4 door sedan --- that was the only way to get the 360 (except , again , in California... ) .

The 1980 Dodge Aspen and Plymouth Volaré were the last vehicles built in the famous Dodge Main in Hamtramck / Detroit . IIRC , production ceased in January 1980 . The biggest-displacement engine available was the ( emasculated ) 318 [ 5.2 litres ] engine , in two barrel and four barrel iterations ( California & 'High Altitude' models were 4 barrel only ) . 1980 was also the last Road Runner , relegated as it was to option package status from 1976 (when the namesake was reassigned to the F-Body --- the last 'real' Road Runner was a 1975 B-Body hardtop ; its V.I.N. reflected the heritage as it was RM23 ) . I have two copies of the MPC 1980 Volaré ; an original from 1979 ( moulded in black --- eBay some 10 years ago ) , and the newer Round2 release . I also have a 1977 Volaré MPC Annual ( no 1976 promos nor kits were produced for some reason... ) . Looking forward to following your build !
