  1. Like my last post, I got these parts a long time ago and have no idea what kit they are for. Thanks for any help.
  2. Very interesting build. I was just digging thru a big box of stuff I got at a model show from years ago and think I might have a similar MPC kit. I will be following your build and might just rebuild mine.
  3. I recently got these two older chassis. No idea what they are for. The black one says Revell 1961. Thank you for any help. Brad
  4. The wheels in that kit represent the car Rally wheels found on Corvettes,Camaros, etc. The wheel is steel, and usually a lighter metalic grey with a stainless trim ring and chrome center cap.
  5. http://www.revell.com/ Can place your votes here.
  6. Looks like Blunc & I had similar mini truck customization ideas. My TransAM Courier was built in 1981.
  7. Here's a couple old pics of some of my models. Only old pics I have sadly. The van is an old MPC Dodge I built around 1973. I rebuilt and painted it a bunch of times. Made it 4 wheel drive then lowered it back down and made it into a shorty. The other pic is whats left of the van today. I had started another Dodge in the late 70's to replace this one,but it never was finished. The other picture with my mom in it is from around 1978 or 79. My Datsun 4x4 model & 1956 Ford F100 are on the mantle behind her. I still have both of these today. Built the 56 in 1974, and rebuilt it in 1975. Included a couple pics of how they look today.
  8. Here's a few more I built.
  9. Here are a few of mine.
  10. Wow! Quite a story! Just checked out his website and he really does seem to put the blame on everyone else. Hard to believe he can't recall so many details about the car either. Hope he does get a kit made for sale or gets everyone's money back to them. I think I have the body for this kit. Been wondering for years what it was, lol.
  11. What an awesome find! So good to know the models were saved. Will make a great addition to the museum.
  12. Looks like someone forgot to bolt in the suspension. Hope nobody was hurt.
  13. Bummer. I don't have that program on my comp to open the file.
  14. Great pictures. Was a real nice show as it always is. Great people & awesome models. Brad
  15. Couple of my Dodge L700 trucks. Turquoise truck was built in 2002 and orange one in 2004. Both were glue-bombs bought on Ebay.
  16. When I am finished building a model, the first thing I do is put all of the left over parts into my storage parts bins. Next, I will write the date the model was finished on the inside of the box & then fold them up & store in a drawer.
  17. Nice review on the van. Looks like it has the stock front suspension I-beams. Too bad they didn't include front & rear bumpers. Oh well, I have a few of the older kits.
  18. Picked up this unopened kit last week in Wisconsin.
  19. I bought a real Datsun 720 new in 1980. The model year 1980 had the L20B L-head engine & the hood had the slots in it. Was 1 year only as they went to the NAPS Z engines in 1981.
  20. I have been storing my parts in parts bins since I started building in the late 60's.
  21. A friend of mine just gave me this paint rack. She used to have a craft store & this has been in storage for quite some time. I will post pics of it when I get it back into shape.
