  1. Coming along nicely Steve. Love this era of GM trucks.
  2. Both trucks look great! Your real truck is cool too!
  3. Great rebuild of an old junker. I am working on a 66 right now.
  4. Looking good so far! This is one of my favorite kits of all time. Keep us posted.
  5. Just received the newly released Super Boss KW. I have an original, but had to get the new one to go along with it. Looks like I need to order a few of the Freightliner SD kits too. Thank you AMT!
  6. I think the year could be 1966-76. 1977 would have had doors over the gas filler necks. Never thought I would see this kit kitted. Going to have to buy a bunch of them. Thank you Revell!
  7. Steve Boutte did a chopped 51 but made it into a 1950. http://www.sbkustoms.com/
  8. Looking good! I love the color! That picture you found online of a real van just happens to belong to a good friend of mine.
  9. Been up at a good friends shop doing some wiring on his 56 Ford F100. One of his friends cruised up in another 56 F100. Here he is leaving. And while I was out chasing parts, I saw this 55 Chevy wagon And this nice 40 Ford pickup.
  10. Looking good! Always liked the look of the early billet rod days.
  11. Beautiful! Can't wait to see more of this one.
  12. My blown injected Hemi powered 64 Dodge 330 might be the fastest although it's currently torn down for a rebuild.
  13. This sounds awesome! I wish I could go but I will be out of town.
  14. Both of these models were built in 30 days each. I tend to take longer, but was thrashing on these for a show.
  15. IMC Bug.Started in the early 70's. Built it stock. Then in the 80's I made it front engine with Chevy power. Have located most of the parts & will put it back to VW power & Cal Look itOld mid engine Hemi powered IMSA style Datsun pickup I started in 1982. Never finished Shortened this Bus in 76. Got it painted in the 2005. Here it sits. Started in 1977. 2002 start of a Phantom 65 Blazer. Started this Caddy truck in 2002. Started this one in the 90's for a 30-day build contest at a local hobby shop. Close, but didn't finish. 2002 build for an online 454 SS contest. I was building a 67 454 SS.
  16. Couple more. Both started in the mid 1990's.
  17. Hmmm, not sure what's going on, but can't seem to upload only 1 or 2 pics & nowhere close to being over the limit in size. I have so many that I have started & then they have stalled. This one here was started in 2003. My Dodge welder truck. I put in 256 hours of work in just 80 straight days. Didn't finish it & haven't touched it since. Really want to finish it,but also thinking about tearing it all apart and redoing it.
  18. Received these in todays mail. Nice GMC stepside truck, old Monogram Luv,MPC Datsun,AMT Falcon for parts to help save my 66 and an old AMT 62 Tempest.
  19. You are correct Bill. I was thinking maybe the later C4 Corvettes. I have most of those kits and only a handful of the C5's. Totally forgot about the transaxle design. I wish one of my C4 models were open, but they are all sealed. I did however come across a 96 ? Z28 engine & trans that is similar to the 2nd pic above, but still not the one he posted.
  20. The parts came from the AMT Chevy C1500 Sportside. Sorry about the mixup. Only thing I forgot was that the 454SS truck plastic is black in the older kits I have. As for the bottom pictures engine. I still think it might be later 1990's or so Corvette.
