Trans Am, from the start of Cannonball Run. I had a 1;1 86 Caprice, painted as an old black n white kinda Bluesbrothers style Looked like it had been painted by Ray Charles with a broom

Nice build. How different can a car look, just by changing the colour. Got a couple of these, just to have the cool wheels. Planning one thats satin black, kinda modern rat rod look.

Love the 57 Chevy. Is that a Monogram kit ?

When I test fitted the tyres into the stencil, I found the 'ridge' in the sidewall slotted into the stencil hole. I'll find some old tyres, mask the tread & tape them to the stencil & try it. I assume normal acrylic spray paint will still to the tyres if I wash & degrease ?

Any info on how to spray whitewalls on to un-named tyres ? I'm sure I saw somewhere about tapeing them to the back of a curcular artist stencil ? Whats the best paint to use ? I dont have an airbrush, just rely on acrylic rattle spray cans.

Nice looking truck, what wheels are they ? That sucks that the X did that, but glad that you came out of it all and are finding time to build again.

78's good ! Would a Dodge Hemi, from the Revell Charger fit in there ?

Other than the resin chassis, are there any other resin parts for this kit ? Replacement hood ? In the UK, they were Ford Populars, commonly known as Pops but they had a different front grill. Anybody got a pic of the Perrys Resin body ? Its not on the site & got no reply from the email I sent.

Thanks for all the info / suggestions. The trailers I have are amt / revell twin axles, got pick ups & panel van to go with them, so was thinking about the hauler. As great as the Galaxie trailer is, I think I'll stick with a truck. If I get a Short Hauler box truck, would the resin hauler body fit right on the chassis ? Ive got a full set of Tennessee Thunder decals, so was thinking of a race hauler & matching 57, based on the Revell Pro Mod.
