  1. I've just found this (see other thread). This looks fantastic
  2. Your a man of good taste Roger lol. Though this 1 had a lasting effect . . . . .
  3. Does anybody make good 70's 4 door sedans ? Something like a 72 Satalite ect.
  4. I've just bought a '95 Crown Victoria (now wheres that Lindburg kit ??) to paint up as a weathered black n white. I had a similar 85 Caprice last year & it was such a laugh to drive. Looks ranged from to to as it burbled by ! Got a 91 Fox thats now gotta go. And also this
  5. I've shot a few emails to Rick over the last couple of months & not had any replies. Anybody know if he's ok & still selling ? His sites still there.
  6. Does anybody make dash gauges in 1;18 or 1;16 scale ? Or know another source ? I've got a few 1;18 Diecast Tri Chevys, Ertl & Highway 61 that I want to add details to. Rather than strip & repaint (those H61's look a nightmare to dis-assemble) planning on adding different wheels (see my wanted ad) & Junior stock decals ect.
  7. Not been on here for a bit, but heres a few quick pics of the resin kit. (I'll try & retake the pics) It has the RS hood, rear bumper, RS 4 spoke wheels & R/H dash ect. Also in the pic is the Revell kit as a doner. I found seats that are very similar to the Recaro's that the road cars came with. Unfortunatly, I doupt if I'll have the time / patience / skill to make this model, as it does need some work. So I'll be moving it on / trading it.
  8. Ya busted me Greg ! It was the other pepper shaker kit that got me started. Plan a 1;1 version one day . . . . .but in the meantime I'm working on a sedan version with the Revell 57 & Impala kits.
  9. Sorry guys, what I meant was the most tooled single year ie 57 Chevy, 32 Ford, 67 Mustang ect. Only asked because I have so many 57 issues but as has been said, there may only be 12 or so tools but many issues of each over the years. Revell must have 6 or 7 tools ? If somebody is into say 32 Fords, how many tools have there been over the years & how many re-issues ect ?
  10. At 1 time AMT, MPC, Monogram & Revell all had a 57 Chevy in there line up (was a kit comparision way back). They have been re-released various times over the years, & new tools still coming out. I've got nearly 100 different issues (gotta top 100 soon ) What else has been tooled so much ? Hazzard a guess at Mustangs or Camaro's ect but what years ?
  11. Thanks for info gents. Looks like its gonna be a Daytona then ! Was thinking about a Charger NASCAR if it came with std front too. Though anybody seen the Pro Angrier satin black Daytona clone ?
  12. Does the 69 Charger Daytona pro modeler # 5946, also include the standard 69 Charger front grill ? Or did they alter the chrome tooling ?
  13. Needs no introduction to UK guys, but the MK2 RS 2000 was Fords hot car in Europe in the 70's. Totally different front nosecone, spoiler & bonnet to the standard car. I've just picked up a resin body to convert the Esci / Revell MK2 Escort from this to this. Probably build it as a street car, but they were also used in rally, racing, as Police cars ect. What do you guys think would best suit it ? Post more pics once it arrives in the post.
  14. Normaly hide behind the camera, but this was last year. First time out in my just finished 57 Chevy
  15. Well . . . . . . this has a lot to answer for . . . 25 odd years ago, recovering from a busted up leg, a mate bought me this kit to build (no internet or cable tv in the UK back then) Got me back into modelling & into 57 Chevys ! Fast forward a lot of years & I finally bought a 1;1 57 Chevy Tho mine is a 2 door sedan. Since finishing it, been bitten hard by the Junior Stock bug. If I do another, might be a 1;1 of this box art ? The avitar pic was done by a UK artist for me. Its now on t shirts, tool box stickers & coffee mugs ect all over my house, along with lots of orange stuff !!
  16. I'll look out for ya. Small world, I'm in Gravesend. This threads a bad influence, want another dirty old cop car now !
  17. Too many idea's, too many kits, not enough actual building ! Sometimes you just see a cool car in a mag or forum & think 'I gotta build that' All my stuff is based on US classic & muscle cars, drag inspired not stock.
  18. Yup I'll be there as I dont live far away. Be loitering about, prob near the butty van lol. Be there in my Yellow Fox Mustang.
  19. Johnny, if this is correct ; Cherhill White Horse and Lansdowne Monument east of Calne, N Wilts (visible from the A4) and also the former RAF camp at Yatesbury There is now a new Ford Timelord http://youtu.be/mGrsin07FSk Anymore details ect on the kit build Walter ?
  20. Wow, thats a blast from the past. Got the record somewhere. Great scruffy build, love it. Shame the 70's Ford kits command stupid prices now. Love to drive a similar 1;1 Cop Car, make the ride into work more interesting ! The video is too funny. Notice the guys feet inside the dalek lol
  21. Oooops, lol. Having a wobbly is when your 'other half' gets cross with all the car stuff in the house. Built a 28' x 14' garage to put my 1;1 57 Chevy in, along with worktops & cabinets ect. Nobody see's my builds up there, but in the dining room they do Normally the new cars go in the house & the older builds relegated to the garage,
  22. I dont have an airbrush, so all my cars are sprayed with rattle cans. Any easy tips on how to make them look weathered / driven in winter ect ?
  23. Go in the small display cabinet in our dining room, untill the wife has a wobbly & they go in the display cabinets in my garage. If I ever built all my stash, I'd need a very big cabinet lol
  24. Fantastic album Michael. Love a Max or Big Bopper car, but too expensive at the moment, Replied to your pm.
