  1. I picked up this 1;24 Racing Champions Sedan Delivery a few months ago Both the pro street look & the graphics (some wrestling guy I think ?) are not me, so decided on a stripdown to transform it into a Junior Stocker, along these lines Its a funny casting, so bit of parts box raiding has helped. Hood is from the AMT street machine 57, rear bumper from Revell Nomad. Front grill / bumper & suspension is from the Monogram 57 Nomad, which seems very similar. This also provided the clear glass. Front bench is being swopped for 2 single seats. Sits a bit better in this rough mock up. Its now in primer (better pics to follow) but having probs getting front suspension sorted. My 1;1 57 will tucked away for the winter after this weekend, so should have more time to work on this.
  2. Many kits now come with 2 or even 3 sets of wheels but only 1 set of tyres to suit. ie Revell 57 Bel Air sedan, Lindberg Police Dodge Charger ect. I've got many builds that I could use the wheels on, if I had tyres. Where can I get extra sets of tyres ? I've seen Pegasus tyres but what rims do they suit, other than Pegasus ? Are there different profile tyres available for Pegasus 19 & 23" rims ?
  3. 600 WOW ! Is that all shapes n sizes ie kits, hot wheels ect or just kits ? I've got nearly 100 kit issues of 57 Chevys (some are slight variations) but nearly 1000 of all sorts in my collection at 1 time. After 20 years of collecting, the 1;1 became a reality & most (except the kits) have now been sold. I kept the kits, as thats what got me into 57's (hence username) even though most are 2 door coupes & I bought a sedan ! Keep collecting Cobraman & 1 day the 1;1 will be the ultimate edition to you collection.
  4. Oops, sorry for late reply guys. Yahshu, that pretty mush identicle to what I built (but mines still on axle stands lol) Casey, they look spot on. Are the rears different size to the fronts ? Dust caps wouldnt be a prob, & yes planned to use kit standard tyres.
  5. Red Victor 1, 0-60 in 1 sec ! I kid you not. What I really wanna know, is what the guy build the Red Victor 1 model from ??
  6. Penny just dropped (do pay attention at the back peppershaker) Revell hatch 1;24 & new sedan 1;25 ? Doh !
  7. Thanks Jason. I cant find a site for AFX (google site says its been sold). I only want the spoiler.
  8. You can ! Just sold my clean 91 GT for £1650 ! (tho didnt have a BBC in front lol)
  9. Thanks for the links Casey. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants an LX hatch, given the interest in the recent Fox resin comparison ? Maybe something the resin guys will think about casting in the future ?
  10. Nice ! I'm a Chevy guy that used to also drive a Fox lol. Love the rubber up the rear arches. Looking at your avitar pic, is it based on your 1;1 ?
  11. I built a Monogram Dodge 440 6 pack years ago & never finished it due to not finding the wheels I wanted. Its now on the bench to be finished. What other kit would have plain steel wheels in 1;24 that would suit ? Or a resin co ?
  12. With the newly announced Revell Fox Mustang LX notchback due sometime next year, its gonna be a kitbash with a Fox Cobra. Does anybody currently cast a LX rear hatch spoiler for the Revell kit ?
  13. Thats very nice. Shame its 1;87, tho 1;25 would be very big & very expensive. I have trouble focusing on 1;25 scale !
  14. Revell 39 Chevy (for wheels, for a Monaco) & set of resin 17" Rally wheels.
  15. Yup, those PLEASE (A thats coming from a Chevy guy !)
  16. I'm a buyer (or Purchasing Manager) for a building & decorating contractors. Great when its going to plan, but very stressfull when its not !
  17. Heres a video of it running on the street. The disc in the corner of windscreen is the road tax (or road fund licence as its officialy known as 'tax' makes it sound like your getting ripped off !)
  18. Of course As far as I'm aware it has MOT & road tax. You cant get the road tax every year (like your tags) without an MOT & road insurance. If you want a good look into Red Victor 3 (sorry Red Victor 1 was original version) have a good read through this http://www.rodsnsods...arted-last-5064 This was started by Andy Frost, the owner.
  19. Is that near enough for an Uncle Jessie pickup ? Fox Mustangs & 57 Convertables please . . . .
  20. Think I'd better start saving for 2013 !
  21. Its a chap called Andy Frost, with Red Victor 1. As maltsr's link. Google Red Victor 1 It started off many many years ago as a 4 door Vauxhall (UK equiv to GM) Victor. Its been through many engines & rebuilds to what is it now. Totally nuts, BUT its street legal. I've seen it run & its as mad as a box of frogs ! Tho, for me it was at its best when it looked more of a normal car, but still ran a twin turbo BBC ! Also looks like somebody made a model of it.
  22. That looks real good, spesh with the Pro Touring parts too. Any news on the Fox Mustang coupe ?
  23. Bit like the big skinny wheels in the Lowrider 58 Impala. Then they tooled wider ones in the Fox Mustang Cobra ?
  24. Theres a few 150's over here. Lost count of the amount of times I've been asked 'is it a bel air' or 'wheres the ali trim from the rear 1/4's' when people look at my 210 !
  25. Fantastic build Tom, looks like Ertl produced it. Almost the same as my friends wagon.
