  1. Anybody built the AG 55 ? And / or modified it ? The obvious TLBT springs to mind or maybe a Super Stock / gasser ? Post up ya pics Gents. I've built one as a stock Falfa AG but was wondering' . . . . .
  2. Fresh or weathered, both look real cool. I love Cop Monaco's
  3. "Genuine Shelby GT350 for sale. Suit enthusiast, needs a light resto . . . . .Coming to an ebay ad soon lol. Looks real good Martin.
  4. I was way out then lol. But then again anything without a Chevy badge . . . .
  5. That Impala looks very mean Damian. Greg I keep looking at this but for the heck of me cant work out what it is ? I'll take a wild guess at a Austin Healy ??
  6. Wow, nice car ! Stock or a few sensible upgrades ? I wish somebody would release a stock kit too. I bought a resin RS2000 a few years back from a uk producer but it was VERY rough !
  7. Gents, google Ford Transit Supervan 2. . . . . . It'll blow ya G D doors off !
  8. I used to drive these when they were new ! The wheels on the green van are the standard steel wheels. The 'telephone dial' wheel covers only came on the higher spec models (Custom from bad memory) & would usually fly off at any random moment & leave you trying to explain to your Manager why you had lost one. They came in various wheel bases & roof heights ect I covered thousands of miles in one that used to go like hell before it was replaced with the newer version that used to blow the over drive gearbox every six months !
  9. I dont have crazy money either Greg. Sounds like its time to alter some of the Fujimi / Tamiya figures ? Be great is somebody does cast the AG's tho
  10. Thanks Jim. I knew about the Milner figure with the 32, but was looking for more of a driver, or adapting one. A 'That must be a field car' scene is appealing to me. I'll have a look for the JL cars tho.
  11. That built pic looks real nice Roger. Black . . . . wide rear steels . . . & a FAT block under the hood . . . . . Wheres that credit card lol
  12. Ive got some in the attic, I'll have a look tomorrow. It was quite smart in its day, light blue with a black vinyl roof with mk3 Capri alloy wheels. I also fitted a RS2000 rear spoiler on the boot (trunk). They have torsion bars to help them open. As the spoiler provides extra weight, you have to climb in the boot with a flashlight & a friend close the lid, or you can never adjust the darn things to a higher setting ! A good friend will open it again lol A (richer) friend had a red mk2 RS2000 that I always wanted to own, but never did. Shay's right about that front grill. Mine was also a 1975 car, as the one in Shay's pic. Only the later Escorts (I think after 1977 ?) got the Ford oval badge in the grill rather than the 4 FORD letters. Believe it or not butrestored mk2 Escort Mexico's & RS2000's (not RS1800's) are worth around the same price as some Tri Chevys here in the UK !
  13. Thanks JC, but I got corrupted by Chevy long ago lol. Although 30 years ago I had a 1;1 mk2 Escort 4 door 1.6 ghia (RS1800's were very rare & very expensive), so had several Esci Escort kits back then.
  14. I've just picked up the Revell die cast American Graffiti 55 Chevy c/w Bob Falfa figure. Has anybody cast any other figures ?
  15. Very nice.
  16. Looks cool & how many 1;1's seemed to end up. Get on the phone to Danchuck & get the resto started . . . .
  17. I used to drive to Boreham as part of my job & would sometimes see RS200's coming out of Fords on trailers ect. Escorts still have a massive following here in the UK.
  18. The Green Onions 55 is one of the cars that runs in the UK Drag racers Gasser Circus. Along with Roarin Rat & another 55 called Crowd Pleaser. I'll post more pics of Green Onions as soon as I get them from Ray (the owner / driver) if anybody wants more details ? I've got an AMT 55 in my stash ready to start, just trying to find some time. Anybody else want to build a UK Tri Chevy ?
  19. WOW where has the last 3 years gone, but a great update to this thread. Jeff at Firebird Designs is now producing decal sheets for the 57 Chevy Super Pumpkin & the 55 Chevy Green Onions Both are available from his web store. Who's gonna be first to start a build . . . . . . ?? (Green Onions pic to follow)

  22. I'm gonna thrown the cat right in . . . . . Satin black with a pearl roof ! Theres a rat'ish but VERY cool looking 57 here in the UK (trying to post pic put its too large ??)
