Getting back on track, a 4 door coupe conversion is a lot easier than a 4 door sedan in 1/12 scale. Go 1/25 n your options are better. I started a 1/12 4 door conversion over 20 years ago. I will try n find pics but its still not finished.....

I picked up a 1:24 scale Action Silverado crew cab, trailer & Monte Carlo NASCAR. I was a it dissapointed to see that the rear half of the CC is blanked off, as it was originally a money box. I want to mod the CC, slam it ect. Any ideas for large dually wheels n tyres ? This is now and the look im aiming for

Thats along my thinking Tom. I did think maybe a beach garbage truck, with jeep style off road tyres ect ? Im using the surfboards, figures, trash can tanks & wheels on other stuff.

I have a couple of Revell 99 Silverado kits, and from what i have read the red custom issue is very similar to the Waverider set but without the crazy price tag. I picked up a 1/24 Polaris waverider thats plastic, to use with a Silverado. Has anybody got the Revell issue and can measure how long n wide it is so I can compare ? Its too long to fit in the bed of the Chevyand a 1/24 Ford Dually. Was a similar trailer ever availible in another kit ?

Hi Gents I recently picked up a 1;25 scale die cast Chevy Silverado rollback recovery truck. Whats the best thing to use to replicate steel cable for hauling a busted car up ? I bought the thinnest brass picture wire I could get & will weather it with vinegar & salt. I'm concerned it wont wind around the cable drup ect without wanting to unroll itself ? Anything better out there ? And just as cheap lol

Gents, where can I get larger diameter custom wheels & tyres for an AMT Chevy dually ? Ive seen some builds on here with them. Ive pick up the street machine version but want dually style large diameter wheels rather than the single rears ect. Also, any build pics of a 4 door conversion ??

The clipboard comes in the Taxi / Firechief issue. Great build of a Cab that's done too many miles on hard roads. Very realistic engine bay too. Too many of my 1;1's have looked very similar lol

I drove these when they were new & yours look very realistic of how most ended up lol.

The latest X has a lot of custom body parts, grill, hood, gunsights, rear trim ect. I personally think its lost 'the look'. Ill take the previous version with the 502 in it please lol.

Hi Bryan Do you still need a copy ? The Pro Shop version included photo etched parts with a stock only build. The Street Machine version that Ace posted had a modified & tubbed chassisbut the body & interior was the same in both versions.

Thanks for the repost of the decals Gary. They will be fine for what I want them for. I'm happy with the Police decals & parts, but the supercharger is also a bonus.

Thanks for the info Chuck. It sounds like the wagon parts will be what I need to use on a 57 Chevy 283fi Police car. or maybe a 6 cyl 150 4 door sedan Military Police car ? Anybody got a pic of the wagon decal sheet ? I plunked down the money for a wagon today Yes your right, MK are not readily available in the UK but ebay is always the answer. Maybe $12 shipping if you choose the right shop / seller. Danno, not many of my builds are 100% correct. Are the cop parts / decals in the 57 Del Rio kit, the same as in the Revell / Model King 57 Ford sedan ?
