Mine had Magnums too. The are nice wheels but I wanted a more modern look. Some 18" Rallys would look good with dark blue.
-
I think theres also a black issue but the dark blues cool. The wheels were a trial and Im now on version 2. I sometimes try several before making a final choice. These are from the Revell 57 Chevy.

Is there any info on where to find or make a roof rack for a VW camper / bus ? Something along these lines but only need to mount surfboards on it.

Thanks for measurements Junkman. The Silverado is only 73mm wide at the front. If its to hand, could you measure the width of the chrome front end headlight / grill ?

Hey Guys, as im now living in an appartment im restricted on anywhere to spray to picked up a few pre painted diecast. A couple are Brooklands with painted 'tinted / blacked out' rear windows, some with signatures ect. Anybody got a heads up to a brush paint ect that i can use to hide it ? Heres the Tahoe I snaffed today, after 5 mins mods.

I love all the way cool Yodel box arts. Ive got AMT Monacos in progress to replicate them. I picked up a Brooklands diecast Tahoe in a charity shop today for £5 ($8). It had a missing door mirror but it was inside the box when I opened it. 5 mins work to remove side steps, lower & swop wheels & its looking so much better already. More work on it at weekend.

Hey Guys, has anybody got a 1:24 Welly Suburban ? How does it compare in size against a Revell 99 Silverado ? Im looking at the front end as a kitbash with a 99 resin crew cab.
-
Looks pretty good Snake. I live in an appartment so no longer have somewhere to spray paint models. Ive picked up and detailed several diecast over the last few months.

Ahidvina, is that a 57 GMC ? Nicebuild, as are your other. Dieseldog, thanks for welcome. My CC replaced a 2000 GMC Sierra ext cab. You have some way cool builds (love the 99 CC) they all going up n not down in the weeds lol. I did pick up a resin 99 CC conversion when I was in the US a few months back, to use for my 04. I still need to fathom the later shape front end tho.

Now has a 3/5 drop, 20" SS wheels ect. Absoluty love it. Weekend toy when the summers here and the suns out is my 57 Chevy. Too many mods to list ! -

I wonder if the boss"s at Revell ect ever look at the numerous wish lists that we post ? I guess if they do, its put on a short list of a short list that may end up on a short list ? (Just like the Goverment lol) Id like to see any new tool of most subjects, not sure oddball wants would be worth the tool cost ect ? Modern crew cab pickups, muscle or Tri Chevys, I'd love to see them all. -

Oh Id back ya up on this one, have to be a 57 tho. Many options of various issues spring to mind, as the 57 Ford wagon. -
You loaded great pics Terry. Never been a big fan of the Alternomad (despite owning a 57 & Caprices) but you scored a bullseye with this one. Looks fantastic in GB mode.

Great build. Gotta love a 57 210 sedan, but i might be a bit biased lol

Great collection Anthony. Never warmed to the Monogram issue but they all look real nice.
