Does anybody offer 1;18th Monogram Trans Am decals but in different colours ? A buddy who has 2 very nice 1;1's is looking for decals in blue and red, which were factory options.

Wanted - Brookfield 2005 Chevy Dually
57peppershaker replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Diecast Corner
Finally found one and it arrived other day. Not sure how to convert a dually into a 1500 CC yet but at least the fronts the same style as my 04. -
Range Rover Police
57peppershaker replied to mrmike's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
You nailed this one Mike. Yes they were all know as a jam sandwich. I had a few run ins with them in my youth lol. Its a real pity (as many will say) that more British stuff isnt made. I would love to see a Ford Granada mk1, which would make the ideal car to accompany your Range Rover. -
My oldest is the MPC 57 Chevy. I built it 33 years ago while recovering from a motorbike accident. Its what got me into 57 Chevys, leading to a 1;1 years later. Its survived 3 house moves, (a few bits need re-attaching ) sadly the 57 Chevy Pepper Shaker that I built around the same time didnt, but its replacement is on the work bench.

That S & M Road Runners very nice Steve.

I picked up the Foose FD-100 and its a rear nice kit but I'm probably going to use some parts on a 57 Chevy. Anybody know what else the chassis will fit without heavy mods ? Be real good to see how and what you guys have used other FD-100 parts on.

Love the repainted truck. I have a couple of 90's Silverado's to redo, shame the rear door windows are 'cast' and not clear and no rear cab window. Also just picked up an 05 Silverado that does have full glass, been looking for ages for 1. They are all due repaints and lowering . Going for this look, still looking for some nice aftermarket dually wheels though

Heres what I have picked up over the last week or so. The Harley's will be detailed and added to Peppershakers Diner. The Motormax C10 will be weathered into a work truck. The 55 & 57 Racing Champions are due repaints, or maybe just try and de-tampo the sedan delivery and leave it white ? The 2017 Silverado is more 1;27 and was way to high (all my trucks are low), quick mod with some Copperhead wheels is more the way it will be. The Motormax 2018 Silverado is a far better diecast.

Hi Gents Maybe another tall order but I'm looking for a set of the large diameter wheels and tyres from the Jada Silverado Dooley 'Just Trucks' edition. Happy to trade or buy if somebody has a set. The cost of shipping with import duty into the UK doesnt make buying a complete model cost effective. If anybody can post close up pics (not sure if there is 6 dually wheels or 1 pair huge wide rears and 1 pair fronts ?) and an actual diameter would really help too.

(Mods, hope this is ok but if not please move) Guys, I'm looking for a Brookfield 1;24 2005 (the 2005's have clear rear windows) Chevy Dually, from the various NASCAR sets. I know there is a Jeff Gordon 24 DuPont set but unsure what else. The set is irrelevant as I want to repaint it.

57peppershaker replied to Jared Roach's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Very nice chevy. -
This is a great kit to see again, tho sure wish the wheels & tyres were a bit wider. I like the revised box art too.

88-98 GMC crew cab in resin
57peppershaker replied to Ben's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
The GMC style grill was on the AMT C3500 Custom Dually snap kit. Brookfield diecast do a 4 door dually that might be readily available starting point ? Its more 1;24 scale though and has painted rear door windows. -
Ford Transit Mk2
57peppershaker replied to mrmike's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
You nailed that one Michael. I drove several Transits in the 80's & 90's inc 1 pretty much the same as the kit but in bright yellow. Looks like your model is a new van for a service guy, as its still shiny lol. -
Yup ya nailed it ! Thats how most were when they were just cheap cars. Heres mine from waaaay back when I was 18

Modified Jada Fast & Furious cars ?
57peppershaker replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Diecast Corner
Ive not seen the Escorts in shops over here Gary, only on ebay. Id guess they are overscale. -
Did you get any further with the blue one Rick ? Did you start a crew cab Bob ? I did pick up a vac formed windshield in 2017 from a resin guy who's name escapes me and only just starting to pull 1 apart. I prefer low trucks and have been swopping wheels around for a rough mock up. 1st are the wheels & tyres (ride hight needs raising) from the Jada Fast & Furious Road Runner & 2nd some 8 stud wheels I picked up at a show some years back. Both too big for 1:24/5 but suited to these Silverados.

Modified Jada Fast & Furious cars ?
57peppershaker replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Diecast Corner
Yes they are larger than 1:24, well mostly. This is an issue when trying to swop parts. I have a display cabinet with 6 or 7 vehicles per shelf, so a shelf of Jada will be in scale. Heres the Jada compared with a Revell dIe cast charger & Monogram 70 GTX and 70 Chevelle. The RR looks better with the Charger 5 spokes, but the chrome needs dulling down. -
Hi Gents Has anybody modified 1/24 Fast & Furious cars ? They are sometimes available cheap here in England (less than £16) and Ive recently picked up a few of them, red 70 Chevelle, grey primer 70 Chevelle, black 70 Charger & 3 x 70 Road Runners. The Chevelles will just be detailed & the Charger is due a wheel swop with a RR. The other 2 will be resprayed once the spring arrives. 1 will be bright orange, the other grey as The Hammer RR also featured in a F & F movie. Anybody know if these wheels are avail in 1:24 ? Be great to see your modded versions.

Id like to see one built up too. I recently picked 1 up with the view of painting over the clear parts. Using with a Chevy Dually. I will be stripping all the chrome stuff too. Whats the alternative trailers ?
