Hi Gents Is the Welly Challenger SRT true to scale in 1:24/5 ? Ive got a Welly Silverado that seems undersized ? Hows it compare to the Motor Max Challenger Hellcat ?

Thanks for ya comment Espo. My 57 door cars were custom and I used 56 armrest / door pulls with the straight 56 int chrome trims. I wanted a kinda stock but not look. I will more than likely use the 57 kit interior as most wont be seem once finished.

The bench is due a cut, nearest I have to use as a start. Best int pic I have, that shifter top maybe a problem to make (my eyes aint that good)

This has sat on the shelf for way too long as a lot of life stuff has got in the way. Now I'm off work due to the C-19 its time to get this sucka rollin'. This will be the 1:25 of my 1:1 57 Chevy, known by many in the UK as FTO (F$$$ Thats Orange). As its been on the street 9 years this build is way overdue. I have a 210 so the bel air kit along with dash and rear 1/4 spears from the black widow 150 and some sanding will provide the start point. Revell was good enough to also include lowered suspension with big F & R brakes, so pretty covered too. Few minor parts like slapper bars to add. Interior needs modding (anybody have a pic of ths Revell 56 sedan int door panels ?) as my car has 56 int door pulls along with a radio & clock delete dash (150's perfect) and a Glide Engineering custom front bench seat. Bench base but 2 reclinable seperate backs with a centre armrest, hmmmmm ? 2 seat backs from spares box may work. This is going to be a display model (my 04 Silveradp crew cab will join it one day) so not overly detailed on stuff you cant see (1:1 has R & P steering and a Ford 9" etc) Now to start basics and sanding the trim.....

Removing old paper decals ?
57peppershaker replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks, will try your suggestions. I dont want to strip factory paint, just spray over it. -
Hi Guys I have an old diecast i want to repaint. It had paper type 'decals' that need to be removed. Ive soaked it in water for a few days & the top layers have rubbed off, leaving the adhesive residue that wont shift with just soaking. Any tips what i can use to remove it without damaging the paint ?

Never seen those before. I seem to remember a Fall Guy Firebird from somewhere ? I lucked out with the Fall Guy truck kit I had, as it had 2 decal sheets in it. I planned to build the firebird and GMC at 1 point, all sold on many years ago now. -

Never thought the Silverado maybe too large instead of the Mustang being too small. At least all the Greenlight silverado's look suited on same shelf.

Great news, thanks Steve. -
Has a 65 Plymouth Belvedere ever been kitted in 1:25 ?

The exclusive blue 2018 Silverado that came with the livestock trailer has now been lowered & the side steps cut off. I will be adding a bed cover. I wanted to go lower & add Herpa semi wheels, but the exclusive colour had chrome wheels on it, so they are staying. This is a before & after pic.

Randy, unfortunately Greenlight are the same as I found out after buying a Fox Mustang. Pic is a GL Silverado, Majorette Silverado & GL Mustang. Kinda looks lost lol

Ive had a few 1:64's arrive this week. Greenlight Dodge Ram sport & a Jada Big Time muscle CHP Camaro. This will sit with the Jada CHP 57 Chevy I bought when 1st issued 15 years ago. Also pack of Herpa 1:87 semi wheels n tyres that are just right for 1:64 Duallys. Also the exclusive colour blue Silverado has now been lowered and side steps removed. A bed cover will be added.

1/32 Semi wheels on a 1;25 Dually question ?
57peppershaker replied to 57peppershaker's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Thanks for the info guys. It was more custom I was looking for. Anybody got pics of what custom wheels you have used or a side by side comparison with 1/32 vs 1/25 wheels ? I'm looking to find something to use on the AMT Chevy Dually Custom 3500 kit.
