  1. Might be worth looking at 1:32 cars Chris, they might scale up ?
  2. Belated thoughts from accross the big pond (i dont look on this section often)
  3. Ive just picked up a S & H Torino & its got me thinking about a paired car ? Some are easier than others ie D.o.H or Bullit but what else is out there ? Batmobile & Goon car ? List 'em up guys (n no doupt be a help to my stash lol)
  4. (mods please move if in wrong section) Are any late 70s / 80s 4 door ford cop cars produced ? I can only think of the AMT Interceptor ? Resin conversions ? Im a big Springsteen fan & keep thinking about the Darlington County track ? "Rock n roll music blasting out the t-tops" - 77 /78 Trans Am ? "Wayne handcuffed to the bumper of a State Troopers Ford" ??? Im kinda stuck ? Help me out guys
  5. I bought the Mongoose rail for those parts & sold tge rest on.
  6. Sadly i dont have the skill or equipment to make Decals Jim. Something generic like the 1st pic would be ideal for a Ford Raptor would be ideal. Its a real shame that more late pickups have been tooled.
  7. Yes more pickup size Dan.
  8. Does anybody produce 1:25 Lifeguard decals for pickups ? Something like these
  9. Found them on the net. The TD Garbage Truck figures are real bad and more like scale children
  10. Theres so many that are bing shown that ive never seen. The Prieser look real good. I have Kawolski who came in the die cast Challenger & 2 older Revell trucker sets, will post pics at tge weekend as they are now in the attic.
  11. Thanks for all the info & pics. Ive got the Fujimi figure kits along with some trucker figures from Revell & Italeri. Those Masterbox ladys look real good but are pricy in the Uk. Talking of MPC twins, theres 2 pilot figures in the Revell Huey helicopter. Theres some great pre painted figures that i wasnt aware of untill now. My eyes are not getting any better, so easier to repaint clothing ect on a pre paint.
  12. What 1:25 scale kits or diecast have figures included ? Fairly recent issues (read readily available) preferably Im trying to collect figures for my diorama (pre painted if poss) and have some but am looking to expand the crowd lol. Kawolski is looking a bit lonesome lol The figures in the tom daniels Garbage Truck are so out of scale they look like children lol
  13. Hey Dan, now your just a bad influence ! I picked up a 65 chevy to use the custom wheels & sell the rest on. After seeing your build ive just bought a 2nd 65 lo!. The 65s are cheap here but not manny 66s availible. Does anybody know if the 65 & 66 kit beds are interchangable ? After buying a 1:1 Silverado crew cab gotta admit im getting hooked on all of them.
  14. Ive had Peppershaker Diner for a few years now. It was a great gift from a modeller friend Voyager. Ive added a few minor detals but since being moved to a bigger display cabinet i want to ad more detail ect. 1st on the list is a bigger base board / car park, maybe a grass area and fencing ect. Does any body have any details to make picnic benches ect ? Any suggestions as what else to ad ? Ive placed a want ad for figures n bits.
  15. Oh the distant memorys of 50 quid (£ vs $ lol) cars Ray. All great in the mists of time. Like you, i was interested in the look but not the detail when i started converting a 1/12 Monogram 57 chevy into a 4 door coupe that i had as my wedding car. The good people at Monogram sent me extra door handles as well as all the chrome sprues (3 sets on the 1/12) following a nice letter (no internet then). Scribing the door lines went ok but the door corners didnt go so well. The model didnt get fnished but the marriage did. Lost the inspiration to finish it now so thinking about a 2 door conversion.........
  16. Sorry guys i overlooked this. Thanks for you replys. Ive just picked up another of the smaller jet ski in my pic. Its made by Britains here in the UK. Dated 1993 which is prob when i bought the original one.
  17. WOW ! 56 is very cool (not sure about hemi but i am a chevy guy lol). Boat is very nice too. Dash really suits it. I picked up 1 of the amt boats & your build is very inpiring.
  18. Ive just picked up a reissue AMT Papa truck, been on my want list for many years. It wont be built as a stock papa though, but as a drag car hauler This kit seemed to be on everybodys want list, but i dont see many built pics on here ? Anybody built as stock or not ?
  19. Any kits or aftermarket wheels & tyres to suit late model drag set ups ? I picked up a 2013 Challenger & looking for a street / strip style build. Due to the large diameter wheels most slicks in my stash dont look 'right' ? This is type of thing
