Thanks Tom. It was a gift from another UK modeller the sign lights up & flashes too. The plan is to add more detail & a larger parking area.

Suggest 1957 Chevrolet model kit?

Well ya cant go wrong with the Pepper Shaker versions I think you covered most the stock / street issues Greg, so not much else I can ad, except the latest blue car AMT issue, only includes the stock parts. ie no 409 & custom goodies ect. Jed theres also the drag issues, Monograms 'Plum Crazy' funny car, Revells Tom McEwan funny car & Soff Seal pro mod. And the cartoon issues, Zingers / Deals Wheels ect If it was me, think it would have to be a Revell sedan or an AMT new tool Street Machine. But thats just me . . . . . . -
Great work on that modded bumper !
-
What a great pair of huge 57's. I love the modded street machine. I have 3 of these that have remained unfinished for too long. Its a real shame that Revell dont update these 1;12 kits with different & more up to date options. Did you cast the over riders ? The white stripe with the Cragars looks cool.

Joe, its got a blown Rover (an old Buick sb that was in many British cars) in it. Its got a hole host of modifications including Tri Chevy truck headlight / fender eyebrows. As its still registered as a Taxi, the owner can drive in bus lanes in London lol. Its not mine, but I chatted with the owner a few times as its a local car to me. I'll post a few newer pics when I get chance.

Looking really good. -
Thanks Dale. Just gotta find the time to start mine.

VERY nice. I too have an Evil Twin planned. Did you modify the suspension for the larger wheels ? I'm using the Dodge Copperhead rims & tyres for mine.
-
The blue latest issue, only comes with stock parts. Gone are the 409 & blowers ect & all the good ol' stuff. I'll have to check (kits are in the attic) but I thought the Boyd issue came with all the old stuff and huge wheels & low suspension ? (But I'm often wrong lol) If you only want it for a doner kit, get the cheapest ! Oh & as for the Pepper Shaker issues . . . . . . .

Sorry, 1;25 -
Very nice Nomad. What parts come in the resin conversion ?
-
Thanks for the replys Gents, and Scott yes you are right. Its the Revell panels I want to see, not the 1;1's. My 57 has a Glide custom split front bench, so its not a stock interior. The door panels are also custom but with the 56 stainless trim. I'm trying find pics of the Revell 56 parts to compare with the 57 150 & bel air parts.

This is a great 57 snap kit, nice looking build Sam. I've never thought about spray the self adhesive decals, they normally get tossed aside.
