    Does anybody have the AMT 1;16 scale 55 & 57 Chevy coupes ? Is the side glass & front windscreen the same in both kits ?

    I picked up one of the Franklin Mint 57 Chevy kits real cheap as it had a missing engine. Does anybody know if these kits share a mould with plastics kits ie AMT or Revell ect ? At the moment I'm unsure to build it as a coupe or convertible, but as it was so cheap its gotta be modified !

    The 1;1's were very cool back in the day & everybody had one here in the UK (stockers not RS1800's). Now they are worth a heck of a lot of money when restored / modified. This kit needs to be reissued.

    Hey Mike, that does look real nice. . . . & I'm a Chevy guy lol I wonder, just like the 57 Chevy sedans, there will be a Ford kit offered that has modded suspension ect ?

    Looking good Erik. I have one of these kits that's my oldest surviving kit, built nearly 30 years ago ! Like yours, not quite correct but cool at the time. It lead to 30 years of 57 obsession

    A bit of food for thought, for these kits . . . . Ive met the guy that owns this. Its running a Rover V8. Its been roof chopped and the front headlight area's are modified from a 55 - 57 Chevy pick up. As its still registered as a Taxi, he drive in London bus lanes without getting any fines

    Just noticed the box art front bumper is custom, but its a stocker in the box.

    Great box art & decal sheet. Just noticed the NITE MARE decals lol I've got the Hot Rod issue that being built as a junker, so a lot of the kit problems wont notice.

    Has anybody issued a resin kit of a Fox LX hatchback, to use with Revels notchback kit ?

    VERY nice & the best colour. I saw a LX hatch in this colour, with Cobra wheels that I wanted to take home to my garage !
