Only turned up a couple, ; Adam 12 OJ Simpson Bronco The Getaway Country Squire The Getaway Ford Galaxie 57 Plymouth Tulsa's Time Capsule I cant get the pics to load at the moment Somebody help me out guys. How many more is there ? And what new ones would you want to see ??? Bluesbrothers Monaco would be good
  2. Lets try again OK, posted but must be still doing something wrong ??? Anyways, the white 1 was built at least years (20 odd ?) from a Goon car. Due a rebuilt soon. After reading Terrys SAE article on how to build the Dirty old Dodge, again 20 years ago ? I thought I'd build one. Then saw a pic of a Monaco Taxi in UK mag Street Machine, so thought combine the 2 & build a dirty old Taxi. It got dented, dinged & painted ect but never finished, though I still have it. A few weeks ago on the Rods & Sods forum, a Monaco Taxi was listed for sale & I bought it, pic above. Turns out its the same Taxi that I saw in the mag years back ! Terry, you still got a copy of the article you could email me ?
  3. Great how 1 car can be built with so many variations Here's mine; Erm , no there not. Cant load pics from photobucket ??? Cant paste the code into the attach box ?
  4. Love to see more 4 doors issued. 74 Monaco & 72 Polara to name a couple.
  5. Thanks for posting. Cool NYPD Dominik, love that Plymouth grill. Whats on the seat of the unmarked car, donuts ? Great build Sam, what chassis is under there or did you just mod the original ? I'll post mine as soon as I get chance to load them on photobucket.
  6. I've been searching some of the older threads for Monaco's, but some of the pics are now deleted. So, lets see all those finished Monaco's, Rosco's, Goon cars, Cops, ect
  7. Thats nice. Loike the holes for the missing door trim. Kitbashed 56 & 57 BW ?
  8. R & R (?) do a 68 Plymouth Satalite 4 door.
  9. Revell Duece coupe & 409 from an Impala ? Good call a/gass but what year ?
  10. Want a cheap display case ? Get down the pet shop & buy a fish tank. Turn it upside down & ya done ! Add some deading to the bottom (or top if your a fish) held on by clear mastic & it will look even better. Oh, & the postman brought me 2 Rosco Monaco's today & he's due back at least 4 times next week !
  11. W O W Nothin' else to say !
  12. Anybody else been inspired to build a car seen in your fave music video or track ? Gotta admit to being a BIG Bruce Springsteen fan. After listening to Highway Patrolman on the way home from work, I watched the music video, which is from the Indian Runner film, and . . . . . Anybody make a 4 door 63 Galaxie resin conversion to go with the AMT kit ? The 55 Buick is done as a die cast cop car, so could use that as a base. Then I got thinking; Ram Rod = 32 Ford with a Road Runner hemi Racing in the Street = 69 Chevy (but which one ?) Caddilac Ranch = ??? Whats yours ???
  13. Thanks guys. Was just looking for something more modern / larger diameter. The kit ones look like 15", so 17" would prob be more in line with whats being used on cars. My 1;1 57 has 17 & 18"'s. Not sure of the overall diameter of the RC wheels n tyres but they are 26 or 31mm wide.
  14. I've had a half built Monogram 57 Chevy on the 'to do' list for toooo long (about 20 years !) Even the 5 spoke wheels from the 1;12 Camaro now look dated, any more modern options ? I found some ARE style 5 spokes & tyres from a 1;10 R/C car, anybody know if they would be ok ?
  15. Thanks for the pics & offers guys, but Ricks (Decals by Lucas) already involved in producing the artwork & the decals. He has all the detailed close up pics. Question is, what one do you wanna build ???
  16. Thanks Casey, sounds dumb but what year is a lil red express ?
  17. I've got an AMT Lil Red Express truck, which I planned to build with a Hemi. Is there another kit or a conversion availible to change the bed from a stepside to a fleetside ? I saw a 1;1 in a Mopar mag & it looked fanstastic.
  18. I've got the blue version & a couple of the GTX's, from years back. They all share the same high back seats. Is there a front bench I could use ?
  19. Love the 57 Chevy funny cars. But them I've gotta thing for 57's
  20. The Revell snap / easy build kits are ok. The coloured plastic can be polished rather than painting. I know they did a pre painted snap 57 Chevy, that looks good after a very quick build. AMT did pre painted Proshop kits. Regular kits, but all the parts as well as the body come pre painted. More parts & sometimes build options (again a 57 Chevy) & you would need glue to assemble. Good luck in finding what you want, & enjoy building them. Post a few pics when your finished. Welcome to the site Buhnanah
  21. Chevy & Ford vans Gremlin . . . . . anybody else thinking Pro Street ? 57 Chevy in a tin ? Cant help myself ! Now where's that credit card ?
  22. George, your right ! Well, about Honky Tonkin anyway. A few years ago the guys that then owned it, was invited to ship the car over & run in the US. Guess thats 1 of the pics. The car is now run street legal, more or less how you see it in that pic. Red windows & all ! The other cars are pictured in the UK. I have many pics & owner info on all these 4 cars. As Andrew says, if anybody wants info, I'll be more than happy to provide it. A big thanks has to go to Rick Lucus. Now, who wants to build a US / UK Tri Chevy ????
  23. Green Onions. Rays owned this for 30 years, still racing & cruising on the streets. Add more pics later.
