  1. This was my first car as well, Though mine was used. Has a 02 GTP 40th anniversary edition after that. Grand prix's are the best cars ive ever owned. love the build, its even the same color.
  2. whats holding the front tires on???
  3. very cool ive got an 85, 305 tpi auto, has around 57k.
  4. Nice 3rd gen, what year?
  5. very nice looking kit, i wonder if we will be getting a 50th anniversary kit sometime soon.
  6. love it. i love 3rd gens(building a 1:1 in the garage at the moment), and this is a fantastic dio.
  7. love the wheels, are they from the 3rd gen trans am gta kit?
  8. great build, agree on the stance though. to much and your just hurting performance.
  9. very nice, i wish they put out actual kits of more pontiacs. it always seems to be the 60's-70's GTO, and the bandit style trans am, not that i dont love those cars but god BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH.
  10. ive seen cars from the 90's with more rust than that and im from pa, in md now. id say it looks pretty darn good. but those rust holes do look quite nice on it, or quite bad not sure if rust is ever really a good thing....
  11. great start on the build man, nice 1:1 as well. im working on an 1985 t/a myself, had the same idea to make a model of what i want it to look like one day. keeping an eye on this one!
  12. great looking build, i like the way the 1:1 looks just not fond of having such little power.
  13. this is fantastic.
  14. nice models, and a very nice gaming collection behind a few of them lol.
  15. very nice. was his car an ls1 swap?
  16. sweet.
  17. this is pretty darn awesome
  18. just because the car is "made in america" does not make the design any better. toyota and honda are terribly boring cars and not even very good for the few things they can do. sure you can get 40mpg in your civic, i can get that if not more in my cruze(which is not a chevy car, it is a holden) without it looking like dog****. from my own experience with foreign cars from japan and korea specifically, reliability is a major issue. granted i drive my car like ive stolen it, but most other cars ive driven(american, german,Australian) hold up a hell of a lot better.
  19. great idea, i wish companies would go back to offering 2-door versions of cars. i miss my grand prix gtp coupe, nobody made a 2 -door like pontiac did. following with interest!
  20. love it! much love for pontiacs. wish they would make a kit for the different versions available instead of always making the same BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH smokey and the bandit kits.
  21. fantastic job on a car that should still be made while the vette should have been left in days past. i have the corvette kit with this hood, same problem wont close no matter how hard ive tried lol, let me know if you figure it out.
  22. i've had better experiences with the color molded kits when it comes to paint for some reason. nice post on these kits as well ill be looking in to some of tamiya's stuff
  23. well the car has rims not hubcaps, which is why i kept all four, and the wire style is a royal pain in the butt to do anything with i may swap them for the other set the kit came with. the headlights in this kit were pretty silly to, for some reason they came molded in chrome? so im having a hard time figuring out how to change those, i painted them aluminum and orange but it seems to just blend with the body. the door mirror i did consider and is something i will probably be going with as it should be pretty easy to drill a hole and have the mirror "hanging by a thread" from a wire. i appreciate the feedback so far thanks alot!
  24. i built this kit up with the intention of putting it into a dio that i plan to do some time in the future when i actually have space to make one, my thought is to make a dio of a garage that specializes in restoring rare and powerful cars. the taurus SHO here was in my parts box and after digging around i found almost the entire thing still on the sprues, i decided to make it in to a junkyard car because it is missing some parts, you probably wont notice them as its a few parts of the engine and some of the exhaust. the car is not complete yet im still working on some weathering, this is my first attempt at it and id like to try a few more things on this guinea pig of a project. but so far i like how the car looks, the front driver side tired is deflated and leaves the car lopsided(had to fiddle with the suspension to get it to sit flat and not rock), the rearview mirror glue has given up and the mirror lays on the dash, the cars exhaust rusted out and has simply been cut off leaving just mufflers and exhaust tips. a lot of the things ive done to this car were a first time attempt, weathering being one, adding spark plug wires and brake lines, custom exhaust tips from a small sized hobby pipe( not sure what its actually for but it makes a nice exhaust tip.). any comments good or bad are appreciated especially if you can give me some ideas on how to make it better .
