    yeah, when I find a Kit that I like .... I stock up..... 2010 camaro ss, lowrider cadillac, revell tuner civic coupe from a few years back, AMT snap Dually.... if its a great kit, it usually ends up becoming scarce.

    I bought locally a case of the new -reissue revell lowrider cadillacs @ regular price ($324.00) and the second case I got @ $15.00 each, so around $210.00 with taxes. Now I get discounts on all of my cases/ 1/2 cases. same deal with the new revell camaro, bought a 1/2 case @ full price and my full case was significantly cheaper.

    dang!!! I almost grabbed a 550 spyder kit car off ebay a few years back. it was relatively cheap ( around 20k) kinda kicking myself for not.

    Sorry it has taken so long to get updates. I have a really hard time working on models when I am gone up north to work for a week at a time, then rushing to get other things done on my week home. I got the engine bay all cut and put in, as well as the wiper cowl. please excuse the iphone quality pictures.

    Our roads are terrible here, and Ive never worried about scraping. If you slow down and go around potholes/manholes, etc. its not a problem. I avoid speedbumps at all cost though. Ive driven airbagged Caddys, s10s, lowered (static dropped) cadillacs and currently have an '11 Camaro that is lowered. just gott drive really vigilante.

    It looks like every other echo, honda,cruze, 200, focus, forte...... econobox on the road. I guess if you buy a vehicle based solely on mileage, then its great.

    The little bit of time, that I have to spend on models today is going to cleaning up these 2 ratty '68 impalas, and hopefully put in some time on a few of my trucks.

    looks like everything else on the road... I guess if you like econo-box run of the mill stuff then its great. I wouldnt be gaught dead in one.

    X2, I have 15 sets of wheels sitting here as well as column mount tachs etc. excellent product!

    whats wrong with buying a new camaro? I did but im also building a 63 nova, and have a stock pile of 100 cars (38 novas/acadians for parts, etc) with my father. Just cause I have a new Car doesnt mean I dont have the skills/know how and or want to build something. In my stock of 1:1 "projects" is a 26 tall t , which I plan to mate with a mid 50s caddy mill and a plethora of other junk I find.

    Inthe past week while I was up north at work, all of this stuff came in: 2 - 68 Impalas, 1 69 impala, resin top kick, hobby designs nissan gtr detail up set, and an original SEALED 75 caprice. stopped at a hobby shop while passing through a city on my drive home from work, and grabbed this stuff

    new revell 2010 Camaro SS, bought a case and a half and the revell Lowrider Cadillac, grabbed 2 cases this Issue, and have a bunch from when big lots sold out @5.00 of the DONKS

    I just looked, it was a different seller. I scored my 75 sealed for 48.00, and he had a 74 that sold for $80.00 sealed. Ive already got a few of the 73-75s but for that price, you can never have too many, lol

    ^ pretty sure I was bidding against you,lol. If its the same one, the seller also had a 75 factory sealed that I ended up winning.

    dang, this one has 40k original miles. 327 that hasnt been running in years and an unknown 4 speed...... body wise the thing is gold. needs side glass. but its worth a grand in parts alone.

    i just bought a 1:1 72 v8 vega tonight. lol..... traded a 90 tempo that I paid 100.00 for, for it.

    looks great. now is that body cleared? or can it be cleared without turning "silver" I know ive tried to clear alclad chrome before and it just turns a foggy grey.

    You`re theory sounds good.... I mean the first year of a 1:1 production car shoudl have paid all of the fees and costs, so the next couple of years should be signifigantly cheaper??? these companies still have employees to pay, facility costs, buildings, maintnence, taxes.......
